The best selection of cakes and gluten free cakes I've ever eaten, and really good size portions, and brilliant value for money considering you're in the lake district. I had the best bacon sarni on gluten free 10/10
You get enough for 2 cups of tea from 1 pot, good value, best place in Keswick for tea&cakes, in fact in the lake District, will definitely be visiting The wild Strawberry 🍓 again.
Chill vibes and a cozy atmosphere make this dog-friendly spot a go-to, with an exciting menu and a fun, attentive staff that loves what they do.

Let’s start with the best part of the meal…the dessert. The gluten free gingerbread pudding was one of the best GF desserts I’ve eaten. Outstanding. (Came back the next night to get it to go.) The fish curry for the main really lacked flavor. I dumped a couple of tablespoons of their hot sauce and it helped greatly. The pork belly was fine. Tasted like basic BBQ sauce on it.
And thanks to the chap in the pic who is sticking his tongue out at the camera.
Start your day with a locally sourced menu and a cozy vibe, though be ready for the bustling atmosphere that can get a bit loud.

Very very nice. There are alot choices in the town tor cofee, breakfasts and cakes. However I'm glad we walked abit further to find this spot.
Gluten free options both breakfast and cakes.
The food was very nice. The coffee was great and the crunchy brownie was a winner.
After having the brownie, then sip your coffee it really enhances the honey within the brownie.
I wish I could try the whole menu
Very friendly people

Wonderful setting and grounds! Staff were so lovely and friendly, lots of great options, including lots of good gluten free options and reasonable prices! Would definitely come back here again!
Recently upgraded with excellent service, it features tiny plates for a unique dining experience but can get noisy and pricey.

This place has definitely improved from a couple of years ago. The staff were very good and attentive. The food was tasty and it says on the menu what the gluten free options are. The nachos, meatballs and patatas bravas were good. However, the plates you are given to eat from are tiny! Like a saucer! So you can't really mix up the food, have to just eat one little thing at a time. It was very noisy upstairs though and it wasn't full. Had to shout to have a conversation with the person next to me. It does end up being quite expensive as it is recommended you have 2-3 dishes per person.
