Lovely place by the river. Quite a bit bigger inside than you would expect and nicely spaced. Family and dog friendly.
Really good selection on the menu for those with allergies. We all had Sunday roasts and really enjoyed them. Gravy was gluten free too
Food was ok, it came with large waits in between the arrival of people's mains (not between starters and mains just between other members of the party's mains). Gluten free options were poor. Only 2 onion rings with a burger and the seasonal veg consist of peas, carrots and broccoli which was swimming in water. Shame had such good potential. Drinks didn't show up until the starter had already arrived.
I was treated to an amazing tapas meal on Monday evening! I am gluten and dairy intolerant nothing was to much trouble..Sam even adapted the menu to suit me! The wine was the best so much choice by the glass! 👍❤️
Always a great choice. I have celiac disease and nearly everything is gluten free (aside from the bread and the fish and chips). Delicious food, high quality and fresh ingredients, and eccentric, bright atmosphere. Definitely find your way here. They even upgraded my partners prawns to tiger prawns for free. We had the fried cockles, cataplana platter, and fried softshell crab.
