I recently visited Another Broken Egg Cafe in Huntsville, AL, and I was thoroughly impressed! As a vegetarian, it can be challenging to find good options when dining out, but this restaurant exceeds the expectation. They have an entire vegetarian menu, and they’re very accommodating about making adjustments to items on the regular menu as needed. They also have a gluten free menu. We went early on a Sunday morning, before the crowd that often comes prior to church services. The place was quiet and peaceful, which made for a very enjoyable dining experience. I ordered the Southwest Scramble, removed the meat, and added spinach and mushrooms. It was absolutely delicious! To enhance the flavor, I requested sour cream and hot sauce, which were the perfect finishing touches. The breakfast potatoes were a standout—perfectly crisp and wonderfully seasoned. As someone who loves lemon in my water, I was thrilled when my waitress brought me plenty, just as I requested. She was very attentive, promptly refilling our drinks and water throughout the meal. There was a small mix-up when someone at our table ordered an item not realizing it included bacon. The mistake wasn’t the waitress’s fault—it was ordered incorrectly—but she still apologized sincerely and replaced the dish quickly without any hassle. While the food and service were fantastic, it’s worth noting that the meal was a bit on the expensive side, costing about $20 per person. However, the quality of the food and the excellent service made it a special occasion option. Another Broken Egg Cafe is a great spot for a delicious breakfast or brunch, especially if you’re looking for vegetarian-friendly options.

Amazing. I have to eat gluten free and the lady when I ordered had a binder for me to look at with lots of options which is very rare if you're gluten free. I had the coconut soup and the spicy fried rice and they were incredible. They made the fried rice without soy sauce and it honestly didn't taste different because of the other stuff they add in. I will absolutely be back.

My family and I have had good experiences here. My wife and son are gluten and dairy free so, we have to be careful when dining out. TM does a good job of making sure that their food is prepared like we ordered it and it tastes great.

TL;DR: Friendly staff, great service, excellent food except for the overcooked ribeye. Expensive, so only for special occasions. Gluten sensitivity friendly. Went tonight with my wife for an early Valentine's celebration. The service staff are very friendly, and Cedric did an excellent job waiting on us. My wife is gluten sensitive, and all the staff did a great job ensuring no problems in that regard. If you have a gluten sensitivity, don't worry there are plenty of delicious options and the staff are knowledgeable. We each had a salad (ceasar and chopped) and both were great. My wife ordered the bone in filet medium and I ordered the Cowboy Ribeye (bone-in 22oz) medium rare. We got asparagus, Brussels sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes. Do NOT miss out on the Brussels sprouts, they're incredible. My wife's steak was cooked well, slightly under but she was on the fence between medium rare and medium, and was happy with it. Mine was medium, and honestly on it's way to medium well. I had to send it back. Obviously mistakes happen, but such an expensive steak house should be able to cook a ribeye medium rare in one try, and if they get it wrong I would expect them to catch it before sending it out. The redo was actually closer to rare, but I have no problem with that, would much rather have it slightly under done then WAY over. Once it was done right, it was of course fantastic, as you would expect for the price. My wife decided to try the sinful chocolate cake (which is flourless and thus friendly for gluten sensitive eaters) and thought it was excellent. All things considered it was a fine meal, well worth the cost for special occasions (not budget friendly). They lost a star for the overcooked ribeye. Hopefully that was a fluke. I would be willing to give it another try, but not anytime soon, for budget reasons.
