We ate at Schnoogs on our road trip adventure to Yosemite, lured by the promise of gluten free sandwiches. They more than delivered. This location is in a retail center so parking is easy. They have a selection of sturdy chairs at tables or some comfortable looking couches for hanging out in a group.
My sandwich was delicious. The best gluten free focaccia I've ever had. Nice smokey turkey and amazing bacon. They also offer an entire shelf of gluten free treats. My raspberry scone was light and fluffy and not too sweet so the raspberry wasn't overwhelmed.
Their coffee and tea selection seemed generous and they had 3 non dairy milk options.
My companion reports that the not gluten free cinnamon roll was spectacular.
Highly recommend this local gem.
Hands down, best grill restaurant. Amaaaaaazing burgers, delicious fries, and perfectly cooked and juicy patties. Even accommodated for gluten allergies. Would eat here forever.

It seems to be a very popular place in town. Birthday party's for the little ones, a place for adults to have a glass and a bite or for big gatherings of larger groups too. Their pizzas are offered in standard or gluten free doughs, and they are filled with toppings that make them very hearty and filling. They also have burgers and a few sandwiches for those not wanting pizzas. Additionally, they have a salad bar, as well as a few other specific salads for those looking for other options. Basically, this is one of those places located in a small town, that gives that town a great vibe, causing you to return time and time again while passing through. Sonora is lucky to have a restaurant like this for the locals and the out of towners to enjoy.
They went above and beyond checking ingredients for my son’s allergy, making delicious excellent gluten free/dairy free pizza in a timely manner. Even though the order was huge they ensured each was made with love and tons of toppings. Thank you for making such a difference in our lives tonight!
Great outdoor atmosphere and dog-friendly (downstairs only). Get their large pretzel, heard they're soft and delicious. Yum! When the weather is nice out, the place gets busy. Downstairs patio, you place your order with the bartender and then a server will bring out your food. Upstairs patio, servers will take your order. I like that they have gluten-free and vegetarian options. My favorite items are the Buddha Bowl and Butternut Squash Tacos. I've received smiling friendly service each time I've gone. I hear they have country line dancing on Saturdays!
Being new to the area, its great to have an old faithful store like Safeway in town. They seemed to always have everything I need on my grocery list from imported cheeses, great organic selection, gluten free too. The clerks are friendly and lots of parking.
One of my favorite restaurants in Sonora. Having special dietary needs, I am much appreciative of their Gluten free menu which lists all of the ingredients in every menu item offered. Chef's are informed of ingredients in brand new items also.

In off hours, say after lunch rush & 9:30 pm, I have had great luck in ordering individual items cooked to order. Steaks cooked rare! Vegetables al dente in olive oil! Highly recommended❣
I am a travel nurse and we'll be here so far in Sonora I have tried the S coffee place and found that their iced tea's taste like plastic I think it's because of the water supply here but, today I went todayo I've got a vanilla bean Frap and it was amazing, Day o You are my new go to place in town I will see you in the morning oh and I am very excited that you have gluten free muffins OMGI can't wait
Ordered gluten free option didn’t know there was a 5 dollar additional fee because it’s wasn’t on there menu as a fee, menu says gluten free available, the girl in the front said o I’ll let them know, really, if you are going to charge 5 dollar’s extra on a sandwich to be gluten you should not that on the menu.
Varies by who's working. Sometimes good customer service efficient and fast pizza making skills. Other times lousy service for pizza making skills and inefficients it's roll of the dice however they do have gluten-free crust and dairy free pizza. Don't forget their breadsticks salads and fresh cookie dough pick up the two litter here if you forget one at the store
Recently enjoyed the roobios tea with coconut milk, it's called the "Cuppa Soul". It's so good and a great caffeine free option! I love the great service I get every time, and love the gluten free baked items they offer. This visit we got a GF chocolate chip cookie my little ones fav, and I got a GF bran muffin.
I think it says that the burgers are made fresh and not Frozen and the people working at under extreme heat conditions were so great and even Burger King was good too and they could have put a little more lettuce and pickles don't cost that much right now you know and so it could have been a little bit bigger like the picture and maybe the tomato a little thicker anyway other than that it tasted delicious and I was really hungry after a swim and I child down it and so if you get a something that you I don't eat the crust because it's not it's not gluten-free I don't think so I give it a crust to my dog but the
Wonderful place! Good food. Great atmosphere. Wait staff was kind, helpful and on point. Tri trip sandwhich was excellant. Sweet potato fries were very good. French fries are gluten free. Turkey Ruben was very good. The ranch is nothing like we have had before. The Brussel sprouts appetizout are outstanding.
This is my new favorite breakfast and coffee place in town.
Their food is authentic and delicious. The owners and staff are kind, earnest and frankly just wonderful local people!
The empanadas are the best i have ever had and papusas are out of this world good for gluten free people.
