The original! All Beau Jos are amazing but this one is just a little bit better. Maybe its the rustic mountain atmosphere or the extra friendly staff but I swear the foods just a little but better. I never make a trip to the area without hitting this place up once of not twice. Best gluten free cheese bread I've ever had, excellent gf and regular pizza, and my favorite the turkey melt or the Canadian club sandwich! This town and this restaurant are a must!

We visited Main Street Restaurant twice during our stay in Idaho Springs - both for breakfast. We were blown away by the food. It was absolutely amazing. Holidaily Gluten Free beer on tap! I asked about it and the exact tap is and will only be used for Holidaily GF beers. I tried it and didn't get glutened, so this is a win in my books. They use a glass spray thing though that's shared so maybe just ask if they can rinse the glass by hand instead.

Beautiful restaurant, great atmosphere. The bar in the buffalo room was beautiful and the stools were very comfortable just as the hostess recommended.
The two bartenders were very nice and also very efficient. The āgreen grass and good timesā was one of the best drinks Iāve ever had, definitely the best Iāve had while in Colorado. My husband also enjoyed his Old Fashioned.
The bison burger was delicious. I was stoked to see there was a gluten free option for the bun. My husband had the fried chicken sandwich he thought it was yummy also.
Westbound and Down was a perfect end to a perfect day in the Idaho Springs area.
