I was so relieved to find that Mattie’s was still operating right now! I wanted to order cupcakes for some friends, one having and gluten and soy allergy. I knew Mattie’s has allergy-friendly cupcakes, so they are the first place I checked. Even though the store itself isn’t physically open, they ate still baking and delivered the cupcakes right to my door!! Such an easy process and of course the cupcakes were a huge hit! I will be ordering from them again!!

This place is amazing! Everyone working was SO nice and accommodating for the celiacs in our family! We will be coming here again while on vacation! Would give 6 stars if we could!!

It is a great place to eat with allergies! We are always looking for places that can and will accommodate celiac disease (gluten free). Amber was our server and she was fantastic! She was more than happy to serve us. She was a pleasure! Thanks Amber for your great customer service! All the staff was very friendly as well. It is pricey so we can only go for "date night".

I went to this restaurant on a friend’s recommendation. I asked the waitress what my options were for GF and she assured me that there were plenty of safe options for me and that they could make “almost anything gluten free”. I ordered the sushi and fried rice lunch special and was assured they had GF soy sauce to use for the fried rice prep and that they would prepare GF rolls. The meal came out with one tempura roll and one roll with krab-neither gluten free. When I mentioned it, they removed both the rolls and replaced it with vegetables. I was also charged a GF upcharge. I’ve spent the past hour and a half in the restroom being ill. Would not at all recommend.

To be honest, this store had a pot smell and reggae style songs about burning people down that disagreed with drugs. It made me very uncomfortable. I thought this would be a place with a lot of gluten free and dietary restricted options. It does have some, but they seem to be very expensive (compared to options at other grocery stores). I won't be back.

Darling little ice cream shop just a 5-minute walk from the shoreline. Visited with my family, including a number of people with dietary restrictions. Very attentive and knowledgeable, and were patient with all of our questions. Gluten/dairy-free options. Can't wait to visit again! 🍨

If you’re in Cape Canaveral and looking for a breakfast experience that’s truly out of this world, the Moon Hut Café is the place to be! As a classically trained chef, I can confidently say this gem has nailed it on every level. Our party of four tried a variety of dishes, and each one was a home run. The filet mignon steak and eggs were cooked to perfection, the steak tender and flavorful. The breakfast burrito was packed with hearty goodness, and the breakfast quesadilla was an absolute delight, bursting with rich, cheesy flavor. For our gluten-free vegetarian friend, the café went above and beyond with a customized dish of scrambled eggs with jalapeños, onions, and potatoes—fresh, vibrant, and delicious. It’s not always easy to find a spot that caters so well to specialty diets, but Moon Hut achieved liftoff! Our server, Autumn, was a total joy. She was bubbly, attentive, and made our visit even more special by sharing some of the café’s rich history. The “Astronaut Room” is a must-see, filled with incredible photos and memorabilia that capture the local space exploration spirit. The walls tell a story, and the cozy vibe makes you want to stay and soak it all in. Moon Hut Café isn’t just a meal—it’s an experience. Between the exceptional food, warm service, and unique atmosphere, it’s a spot I can’t recommend enough. Trust me, this place will have your taste buds over the moon!

We had a wonderful dinner experience at Marina. The owner and staff were so nice and helpful. They made excellent recommendations. The steak, pasta and salads were so good and they had gluten free options for my husband. The wine list is very good, prices good. We will definitely go back!

The inside was smaller than expected. The waiter tended to forget about our table, which resulted in us waiting for long periods of time to get anything. The food was exceptionally crunchy, but it severely lacked flavor. Half of the fries were very soggy while all the fires lacked any salt. A friend of mine ordered a burger and requested it not to have lettuce. However, after receiving it, it still contained lettuce. The burger itself lacked any flavor. The bacon on the burger was dry and lacked flavor. Another ordered the mussels and had requested not to have any bread with it due to a gluten allergy. However, when it was brought out, it still contained the bread. The cocktail sauce also lacked any flavor and only added extra moisture to the shrimp that also lacked flavor. The shrimp was said to be large, but once brought out, it was revealed to be only average size for any place that sells shrimp. The shrimp was not worth $15.00 and only presented the quality of $5.00 shrimp from Publix. Overall, everything lacked little to no flavor and was not worth the price being charged for it.

Firstly, my husband LOVES this place. Which is why we took an out of town visitor there. From walking in the door I was dissapointed. It took staff several minutes to acknowledge us to seat us ( we were standing next to two hosts/employees). Then several more to find us a table in a dining room very empty. We got seated with menus and it was another 10 minutes before we could pin waitstaff down to help us. She said she didn't know where our server was. But she eventually helped us instead. The food was good, but not great for two of us in the group. I had a salad and sausage/peppers (recently diagnosed with severe celiac disease). It was good. Lots of garlic flavor to the sauce. The salad was a decent size too. However, overall we didn't feel very welcome. Half way into eating, we were asked if we wanted boxes to go. We were still putting food in our mouths when it was asked. The checks were also very speedy...they never asked about dessert. Lastly and really most importantly, I felt nervous with the staff not wearing masks. Staff serving wore masks ( often under noses or pulled down to talk), but the kitchen staff had NO masks. I understand Florida has opened up, but that doesn't mean you don't even try to be safe.

Spent 3 days (Feb 2024) at the Radisson at the port, Cape Canaveral. We (4 adults and 2 children) were super impressed with the breakfast buffet at the Flamingo Restaurant inside. We have 2 family members who are gluten-free, soy and dairy free and we appreciated the extra care Brenda took in preparing their omelets. Kaytlynn is super friendly and an excellent waitress helping us navigate through food options and making sure we had lots of hot coffee and orange juice. Thank you!

Unfortunately, this was a disappointment all around. It was way too expensive, and the ingredients were low quality. The gluten free pizza is the worst we’ve ever had. It was like cardboard.
