We ordered in the restaurant, 30+ mins later we were like where the heck is our pizza and we went to check on it and it had gotten cold sitting on their counter, they didn’t call us or anything. What really bothered us is they didn’t seem to care. The gluten free pizza was good though.
We went to this restaurant on 16th August, was served by Bryanne who was fantastic, polite and professional.
One of our party is gluten free and the server was helpful on letting us know what she could have etc.
It was a special birthday event for our granddaughter. The food and service was brilliant,we had T-bone Steak, one with onions and one with mushrooms, steak and full loaded jacket potato and a large cheesy loaded fries, they are famous for their salad. As a surprise all the staff sang to the granddaughter and presented her with a free desert. Would recommend that you visit but get there early as it does get busy, which is a sign of a good restaurant.
this establishment is getting me through life right now. i have developed a gluten issue that’s so severe that i can’t really do any cross contamination. when i do, i’m so so sick. i’ve gotten sick at other places like this with “ingredient tubs” or places they grab communally for the food.
firehouse asks if it’s an allergy issue and when said yes, they take off gloves, and get fresh containers. they seem so knowledgeable and this is the safest place i can eat. this place is a pillar in my life at this point and i can’t say how much i appreciate being able to eat out somewhere.
I had a great gluten free lunch of shrimp with mixed vegetables and egg drop soup. I asked for white sauce, white rice, and no soy sauce and I didn't have a reaction so this is my new lunch place.
She was very understanding about my request for gluten free and didn't include anything in the bag like fortune cookies or noodles. She was very accommodating about me being gluten free.
It was all very fresh and tasted wonderful. Thank you First Wok!
