Great meal while in Lake Worth! We had 3 meat eaters, a vegetarian, a vegan, and a gluten free pescatarian and we all found something delicious to eat. I don’t remember our waiter’s name but he was so fun and personable! Would definitely recommend.

This restaurant moved to a new location in Lake Worth Beach in Dec. 2023, so I would suggest reading reviews after that time for a more accurate depiction. We are so excited to find this cute place and the owner is very nice - Puerto Rican by way of NY - which is why the menu has a latin flair. It's a very small vegan restaurant with two large tables and 4 bar-top seats along the front window. The food is delicious, but it can take a long time to get your order. My husband adores their buffalo mac 'n cheese! It's pretty spicy so if spice is not your thing, you could order it without the buffalo. I love the arepas and the acai bowls. The nachos are so good too. LOCALS TIP: You have to try the empanadas! They are not on the online menu because of limited supply. You have to buy them at the restaurant. Yum yum!! PARKING: There is no parking. The first time we were on our bikes and the 2nd time I was picking up, I parked illegally. (yikes!) It would be great if there was parking off the alley and a bike rack out front. I would suggest parking along the street In the neighborhood behind the restaurant or on the other side of Dixie on the street and walk across. It’s worth it! 😊 UPDATE: We ordered a lasagna, gluten-free and vegan for our Christmas dinner with our family and it was absolutely amazing! 😻

This place is authentic and top notch!! The ambience is lovely, they play Turkish classical music as Chef Taner (the owner) greets your table. The service is fantastic, super fast and the owner is a kind, warm person who’s always smiling and making you feel like you are in your friend’s restaurant in Turkey 🙌✨🌟 The menu has options for vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free & non vegetarians. The platters are huge and everything tastes fresh and super tasty. True taste of the Mediterranean! Lastly, the pièce de résistance is the rice pudding!! O lala!! The most mouth watering rice pudding i’ve ever tasted. I ate one and took one home. Then they told us they had gluten-free chocolate cake and I took two home! They are so soooooo good!! 😍😍😍 Thank you Chef Taner for bringing us the flavors of Turkey! Highly recommend this place for large groups and family outings 🙌

The servers were friendly but very busy and it was hard to track them down for basic things like water or another drink. If you are gluten free, this is not the place for you. The server told us in the beginning when I asked about gluten free options, “Unfortunately we don’t have many gluten free options.” The baby back ribs are not gluten free, which is hard to believe, nor is the Caesar salad, even without the croutons. There is no reason a restaurant in these times cannot make barbecue sauce that does not contain gluten. The atmosphere was just okay. It’s not in the best part of town, and was dark and somewhat dreary in there. The manager was very helpful and once she found out I couldn’t eat gluten, tried everything in her power to make sure I didn’t get sick and had food I could eat. Unfortunately, there were just not many choices.

Just visiting for the weekend, and was recommended to come to Bear's for a healthy lunch. It's tough to find organic and gluten-free options, but Bear has that nailed, PLUS Keto options! Had cauliflower rice, kale, some other veggies, chicken and a delicious homemade sauce. Will definitely by my go-to place when I'm back!

Being celiac (having to eat gluten-free) is absolutely difficult to eat out, let alone find a restaurant that understands the severity of my sickness. The staff was super accommodating, The food was AMAZING! And the best part is I DID NOT GET SICK!!! Thank you so much! Wow is all I can say. Crumb cakes were a hit at work and we all enjoyed the super huge cookies. They really are so big and hearty that you can’t eat the cookie in one sitting. Even the gluten free cookie was the bomb!
