My favorite local spot for a high quality meal & attentive service every time! I love the unique touches and little details they add to the dining experience. They also have amazing gluten-free options and a dedicated gluten-free fryer which is a huge plus for those with celiac and/or allergies. Highly reccomend!
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with excellent service, solid portion sizes, and a variety of accommodating options that keep guests coming back for more.

Always been a great experience at Brunch Cafe! Their staff is always welcoming and is great about making sure we are taken care of.
Our oldest has a bad dairy allergy and my wife can not have gluten. The staff has always been wonderful at making sure their options meet their allergy requirements and neither one of them has had any major issues except maybe eating too much haha.
The food is always excellent and the portions are solid. I've never left there hungry or disappointed with what I've ordered.
Great place to eat!
Offering vibrant flavors and unique dishes, this downtown gem is a must-try for fans of diverse cuisine and artsy presentation.

The food was absolutely 5☆☆☆☆☆ in freshness, flavor, portions, and presentation. Beautiful plating. The staff cheerfully appropriately accomodated my dietary request for no meat, dairy, oyster or fish sauce, and gluten free. High quality clean restaurant at very reasonable prices. In downtown McHenry with ample parking.
A spot known for its awesome variety, monthly specials, and quirky offerings like Vampire Tacos, plus a great selection of beers and mixed drinks!

Awesome variety of food - gluten free and vegetarian options available. Their monthly specials are always great, but their Vampire Tacos are our personal favorite. Variety of beers to choose from and the mixed drinks are great!
With a wider selection of options now available, it's become a popular spot that caters to diverse dietary preferences, though kitchen certification varies.

Note we didn't get pizza.
Their fries both regular & waffle have a coating so they are not gluten free. Boo for me. Got the grilled chicken sandwich no bun. It was decent.
My MIL got the chopped salad, no meat in it, was soggy. Husband had chicken fingers & fries, said they were ok. Waitress only checked on us as we were eating last bites .
It was also very loud inside but wasn't super busy. If that bothers you we suggest sitting outside if possible.

This place is the best! Food never disappoints. Sit at the counter for the train to deliver your food. My friend even had gluten free breakfast loaded with GF toast.
Eggs and noodles not to be missed. Was family owned just changed hands hopefully nothing changes. They decorate for every holiday and it's over the top awesome
I had the bolognese sauce over gluten free pasta with a meatball on the side. Was even able to add onions, peppers and mushrooms to the sauce was the "presto- resistance" ! Delicious $20 dinner

I came here with my friends for coffee and had wonderful experience with the staff. I have a gluten allergy, and was unsure about the ingredients in the syrups and Becky was able to help me by giving me a clarification of the ingredients in them which made me feel much better about enjoying my coffee. It was a perfect cold brew and she was amazing help.
Enjoy a cozy outdoor vibe with fresh, ample salads and standout pizza that surprises with its amazing crust, all topped off with great wine options.

The crust was a little different than usual. I know there are new owners but I was hoping they’d keep the same recipe! Also my friend’s gluten free pizza was atrocious! Her crust was almost non-existent as was any toppings! I was shocked to see how little was on her pizza! Definitely NOT worth what she was charged for it. She did call and the place was gracious enough to give her credit. We ALWAYS order from Rosati’s so we hope the quality of the pizza improves. There are not many places that come close to Chicago tasting pizza - yours is (was?) the best!
Expect a personal touch from the chef that elevates your visit, along with some amazing dishes and a memorable experience to savor!

As someone with celiac, I have NEVER had the chef personally come out to my table and discuss what I could and couldn't have, UNTIL My Place. The head chef/ Owner came out and walked me through the menu, and prepared special Naan bread for me. This level of care made the experience THAT much better. The food was AMAZING! My party all ordered the My Place curry. We all had orders of chicken as well. We ordered Tikka Masala (mild and spicy) butter chicken! We had Escargot as an appetizer and it was wonderful!
A cozy spot with a veteran theme, loved for its warm atmosphere and consistently high-quality offerings that keep everyone coming back.

We love going to Kim & Patty's for breakfast, brunch, lunch but also for special occasions like Mother's Day and birthdays. We have taken family members from out of town and they all rave about the place and tell us they can't wait to come back. We have one cousin that goes there just to look at all the military photos, we have a large military family. One time I was super sick and ordered for pick up because the only thing I had a taste for is on their menu and always delicious. I wish the place was bigger and had more bathrooms to accommodate bigger groups on busier days but for day to day, it works well. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Prices are competitive. I've never had an issue with getting the wrong item or a plate made with incorrect ingredients. My sister is gluten free and she has been able to eat there with no issues and found several gluten free items on the menu.
Our household really loves Jexals. The wings are great, the thin crust pizza is spot on, it's our go-to of all the downtown McHenry restaurants. The only reason I give it a 4 star review is because they don't offer gluten free buns/wraps/etc. We're a gluten free family (with the occasional pizza splurge) and wish we could order burgers and/or sandwiches instead of having to go to a different restaurant for those options. Other than that, we've always been happy with the food and service.
