UNBELIEVABLE gluten free crust!! Not just the best gluten free crust I've ever had, it's one of the best crusts in general I've ever had All of the other ingredients were just as good. This might be my favorite pizza spot now
With a killer crispy crust and unique toppings, this local pizza spot is a crowd favorite for its quality and deliciousness.

Had the Detroit deep dish. It was excellent. The crust was so crispy and covered in fried cheese. My dad had the extra thin and my wife had the gluten free. All pizzas were top notch quality and taste. The server was very nice and pleasant too. Highly recommend this place.
Quiet diner. We ordered coffee, vegetarian skillets, ( I added add corn beef hash) ,eggs basted, sourdough toast.
Disappointed in the eggs, the bottom was over cooked and the yolks weren't fully basted, still sunny side up.
I really liked the thick cut and toasted golden brown sourdough toast.
They also serve gluten free pancakes.
Expect tasty appetizers and tender chicken, but be prepared for some hit-or-miss dishes and a lackluster dessert experience.

Ate at Agio for a post funeral luncheon. The appetizers were delicious though the bruschetta was light on cheese. The salad was sparse and soggy. The chicken parmesan was tender and the raviolis tasty. The potatoes were dry but the sauce helped. The penne in vodka sauce needed more seasoning. The dessert plates were defrosted premade. Best part was how they served my cousin who is gluten intolerant a delicious lunch!
This family-owned Italian gem serves up delicious dishes in large portions, making it a local favorite for comfort food lovers.

The food was delicious, everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I do wish there were additional dietary options (dairy or soy free). I appreciate they do have gluten free pasta. The minestrone soup was tomato based and reminded me of Campbell's tomato soup.
A neighborhood gem with a vibrant atmosphere, unique plant decor, and changing monthly specials that keep things fresh and exciting!

Always nice music and flowers. Truly a neighborhood favorite. Try the chocolate milkshake! Also, the gluten free pancakes are great as well. Dinner specials change monthly so make sure to try their Italian menu items.

Sarpino's has great pizza, flavorful sauce, the dough is made daily, never frozen. I can see them make it in store. Crusts choices of pan, thin, deep dish and gluten free. Depending on my mood, I prefer thin or deep dish. Quality cheese, never frozen. Vegetables, never frozen. Drivers are fast and polite. Clearly, drivers are not driving company vehicles. They are driving their own vehicles. They probably pay for their own gas and maintenance. Some drivers drive rusty vehicles. ๐ I love tipping for delivery service. I love not having to get in my car to pickup food. No one is obligated to tip, but have you tried ordering food delivery from a third party app? Third party apps charge delivery fees and service fees. Sarpino's doesn't charge delivery fees or service fees. I am baffled as to why Sarpino's advertises "free delivery". I think it is a problem with language comprehension. More correctly, Sarpino's should advertise "no delivery fee". Surely, Sarpino's is not implying for people to spend more money on food and squeeze the driver. Below are two pictures. The first pizza is a New York Deli pie cut. The second pizza is a Canadian Classic square cut. The second pizza had Alfredo sauce substituted for pizza sauce as the base sauce. The ingredients don't have to be perfectly spaced out, they just have to taste good!
With a focus on unique options and tasty offerings, this spot is a must-visit for those seeking delightful and diverse dining experiences.

I dine at the restaurant in Palatine...I am never disappointed in their food. It is always the best Chicken I have ever eaten in a restaurant. I eat a strict gluten free diet and this restaurant allows me the choice to eat out. I highly recommend their triple chicken plate. Very tasty!
I use to love going to Tap House with my family until I found out I had a gluten intolerance. Tap House is the MOST gluten unfriendly place there is in Palatine. There are hardly any options on the menu that are amendable. My co-workers and I recently had an outing and everyone wanted to go to Tap House, but because a few of us were GF, we all decided to go to Pizza Bella instead. :(
Surprisingly delicious burgers shine here, and even with crowds, everything runs smoothly for a satisfying experience.

I wasn't expecting all the much out of this place, but I was shocked at how delicious their burgers were. Also, they have gluten-free buns for the celiac weirdos like me. Also, even when the place is packed, the staff are able to stay on top of things. I will say they did make a minor mistake on my bill last time I was there, but they corrected it immediately and made sure I was happy with everything, even when there was a crowd of customers around us. Definitely will be coming back! Love this place!
A fun spot for burgers and pizza, popular among friends for its inviting vibe and tasty offerings.

Feb 2023 - I enjoyed another great dinner with friends at JJ Twigs in Palatine. I was excited to learn they now offer gluten free buns for their burgers so I had a cheeseburger. They also make great gluten free pizza. I highly recommend the original JJ Twigs.
Great Oktoberfest vibes here, but expect some inconsistencies with the menu and higher prices for what you get.

Met some friends on a Monday night since their Daily Special was half priced burgers.
Located in downtown Palatine near the train station, parking can be an issue. Luckily it was not too crowded and we found parking nearby. The restaurant was not very crowded and we were seated immediately.
They have a nice beer selection so I tried their Red Ale named the Vendetta. 6.3ABV. It was OK.
Their food menu is quite large but pricey. They do offer a gluten free menu and they have Daily Specials which they list on their Web site.
We started with an order of potato skins which were overcooked and dry.
I tried the Gaucho Burger that was supposed to have a Tajin seasoned steak burger ( I did not taste Tajin) ,Guacamole,Pico,Cheddar Cheese and Tortilla Strips. This burger was lacking in flavor. I asked for Medium Well and everyone's burgers were overcooked. The Guacamole tasted store bought, the cheese was cold and not melted and the Tortilla Strips were stale. Thank goodness I only paid half of the normal 18.00 they charge.
I really had high hopes for this place but with so many brewpubs in the Northwest suburbs,I probably won't go back.
Large menu with lots of choices. Homemade food and very tasty. Will swap out items for my diet but I would be concerned about cross-contamination for severe allergies and Celiac. Their grilled veggies are very good.
This modern hole-in-the-wall diner boasts a cozy vibe, charming decor, and even features an adorable corgi mascot on display!

I first went to Chappie's with two friends and we immediately loved the vibes here. It's a modern hole-in-the-wall diner with contemporary decor, family friendly atmosphere, and food options for everyone including those with seliac/gluten-free diets. Lunch and breakfast are available with my top recommendation being the chappicino. Some other menu stand outs are their smoothies which feature protein and non-protein options. But any review of Chappie's without mention of the dog himself would be incomplete. A photo of the corgi is prominently displayed behind the counter and the branding is an absolutely adorable rendition of Chappie in a cup. The establishment is very clean, service cheerful and responsive, and comfortable despite the small square footage. If you've read this far, you HAVE to go to Chappie's now ๐
Good for gluten free products. Price is comparatively high. They have huge pizza collection which I like most. They need to store more vegetables. And as I said, its expensive. Need to change pricing policy to honest.
Denny's is really our go to place when we're on the road because we can always find gluten-free options for my wife. Also love that we get a 15% AARP discount.
