This place is awesome, we came with friends to celebrate a birthday. Nikki was our waitress, super knowledgeable and a great personality. They have amazing celiac friendly food, we do not feel like we had to worry about the food that we got and they had many options for whose who have Celiac. An amazing farm to table restaurant!
Chill vibes, a rad atmosphere, and a killer selection of arcade games make this spot a must-visit for a laid-back outing!

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. So nice to find gluten free items on the menu! The Spinach & Artichoke spread was delicious and the Mediterranean Pizza on gluten free crust was outstanding. Our server, Avian, was so nice and friendly, absolutely delightful! He really added to our wonderful experience at Fire on Fifth after touring the Westclox Museum. Looking forward to going back on my next visit to the Illinois Valley.
This Applebee's was very clean and nicely decorated. The food was very good. I did the 9.99 mega deal which was bacon cheese burger with fries and drink for 9.99. I am a big guy and it was plenty of food. My wife got the honey mustard grilled chicken salad. Problem was waitress did not bring dressing. When she finally came back near us I had to tell her that and she said I thought you didn't want it because of gluten issue. We never talked to her about dressing only the breadstick they serve with a gluten sensitive meal. So almost 10 minutes later she returned with honey mustard dressing. I had to flag her down twice for a drink refills. restaurant and food great service not.

My very favorite! If you want great people and great food this is the place! Josh, especially, is very knowledgeable and fiercely protective of my food. He knows exactly what I can safely eat (celiac disease- gluten and dairy free) and makes sure to check my food before I get it. He also makes the best margaritas! Go here for the people, the atmosphere, and the fabulous bbq, tacos, margs, ribs, and more. Pulled chicken is my favorite with a side of chips and salsa verde and a margarita! The signature sauce is gluten free and delicious on any of the smoked meats. VERY kind and accommodating! I can’t recommend Stone Jug enough! So grateful they are in the area!
