I was incredibly shocked at how accommodating and delicious this place was! We stopped in for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised to learn that they had amazing gluten free options, cook in beef tallow, got their beef from the Flint Hills AND had vegan cheese!! I couldn’t believe I was able to indulge in everything and it was absolutely delicious. The owner and the staff were so friendly. I cannot brag on them enough! I did not expect to find such a gem just searching for a quick bite.

So the food was good, it took a while to get it. They were busy though, I'll give them that one. The kicker was when I was halfway through a BLT that I assumed was gluten free, (since you know, that's what I ordered & told her I had an allergy) and the waitress showed up and said "I'm sorry, she gave you the wrong sand, that one is not gluten-free." You are lucky I am just going to feel like crap for the rest of the night and not something way worse! Train your people better! The manager never once showed any concern and no compensation was offered. Bad business practice.

I have a gluten sensitivity so I eat gluten-free. I asked for a bunless cheeseburger and also asked them to change thier gloves. They were kind to do so and even put it in a separate bag from the rest of the order!

I really enjoy Casa Ramos. Bright and clean atmosphere, efficient staff, delicious food, and very reasonable prices. The chips are thick and crunchy, and the salsa is very flavorful and thin (my favorite!). I've liked everything I've eaten there. As a gluten-sensitive person, it's easy to find a variety of dishes to eat there, and the food isn't overly salted, which I really appreciate. Just a good place to eat.

Update! This place is ask AMAZING. We make sure to stop every time we're going through Emporia. They're VERY accommodating for those who need to eat gluten-free. I can't recommend them enough. Absolutely AMAZING service. We called ahead and asked if they had gluten free. Robin told us everything that he could make gluten-free and in separate work stations/pans. This is an hour away from home and we'll be making the drive often. Thank you Robin for everything!
