This was my second time visiting the Trail House restaurant and I was so happy that we went back. The food is delicious and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. There are a ton of gluten free options and we ate everything on our plates. Even the veggies on the side of our main dish were so flavorful and delicious that we wanted more.
I personally love getting the Maple Bacon Chicken.
Drinks were really good too. I had a Mocktail this time because I was driving, but last time I came I had a drink and it was pretty strong.
The outdoor seating looked really nice with fire pits and a garden. It was too cold to sit outside this time, but I would like to come back.
This is a great grill pub to check out when in North Adams! Laid back, casual, great beer selection and the food menu is a familiar, if not delicious, one which will cater to all appetites! We had a burger, some wings, curds and tenders; all were very tasty, but the burger was especially well executed. The menu has a number of curated burger styles available, or you can make your own. Regardless, each has a house blended beef patty that is perfectly seasoned and delicious medium to medium-rare! Note they have gluten free buns for the burgers, as well!
Service was excellent, and very attentive/friendly. We’ll be back when in the area!
The wife and I come here all the time and it is our favorite place for date night dinner. Staff is all super friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere is great and food is delicious. My go to is the Short Rib Brasato with Mashed Potatoes and Veggie. If you want dessert, you HAVE to get the creme bruele. By far the best I have ever had. Also everything reasonably priced.
They also have gluten free options which is fantastic for anyone who needs/prefers that.
Being from this area, this is my favorite restaurant, any time of the year. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere and very professional servers/staff. Very extensive wine/beer/spirits selection and the food menu is always being updated with seasonal choices but some favorites (fries, truffle fries, fish + chips) are permanently available. Take out service is exceptional if you'd rather pick something up.
They are attentive to allergens, gluten-free patrons and have vegetarian options, too.
I wish they still did the family-style dinners for take out and even in the restaurant; this is something they did during the pandemic to help accommodate customers but it was a very cool idea.
I ordered a gluten free banana chocolate chip muffin, and all I can say is WOW! Honestly the best gluten free baked item I have EVER had. I also greatly appreciated all of the non-dairy options to add to my coffee, so I got to enjoy a delicious oat milk coffee with it. I can't wait to try more!
We truly enjoyed our breakfast here. Such a cute diner with a nice and friendly service. It definitely felt like a hidden away local spot in the Berkshires. The corned beef was so juicy and flavorful. (I’m gluten intolerant and she offered me tomato slices instead of toast which I also appreciated.) Cute booth, friendly atmosphere, very much enjoyed our breakfast! (Pictured, country hash and steak and eggs.) Cash only. (There’s an ATM machine inside.)
Wonderful dining expirence. Food is good and well priced. Variety of craft drinks. Fresh hand cut fries cooked to perfection. I enjoyed the Cobb salad and turkey bacon wrap. They have gluten free cauliflower crust for pizzas and gluten free wrap options as well!
