One of the few, if not only gluten free and vegan restaurants in the area. I will definitely be back. My pesto sandwich was awesome. The cookies are a hit too 🙌🏿
The unique vibe here promises a flavorful experience, but be prepared for some wait time when the crowd gets busy.

The house was amazing! And I got two gluten free which were so so good, the Maui and the Shiitake, out of all 3 I think the Holy Shiitake was a must try especially for gluten free vegetarian options, the garlic aioli and truffle was so delicious.

Service was friendly and quick, espresso tasted great - not too burnt - and the gluten free waffle was delicious! The interior left a little to be desired, but overall it was a good little shop.

Not bad for a quick take-home pizza!! You can also dine there! Gluten-free option as well which is a big plus for me! I love that you can add your own toppings and it doesn't change the price!!! ♥️

I just love this bakery and the owner! Nikki is so amazing at what she does. Not only are the treats delicious, they are almost always gluten free and use natural sugar sources! I've tried everything from the lactation treats while I was breastfeeding (worked wonders on my low supply!!) to beautiful cupcakes for my daughter's birthday. If you are looking for the perfect bakery, look no further.

We stopped by for a quick lunch. The food was really good! They have a gluten-free menu with multiple options. Unfortunately, they do not have gluten-free bread or rolls, so no sandwiches, but everything else was great.

Always a fabulous meal. Lots of gluten free options, and they’re clearly marked on the menu. The dishes are continually changing, and I love that they update the menu for the day on their website by noon. It’s a very homey and relaxed atmosphere. It’s small enough that you don’t feel crowded and you don’t have to yell to the others at the table to converse. We’ve been several times, and will definitely continue to go.

East Bay Deli is one of the best sandwich shops in the area. They have a lot of options for someone gluten free. My children are very picky and they love eating here. I also live the atmosphere and decor. It makes for an interesting visit here. They also have outdoor seating which is nice. Their parking lot is big enough to accommodate their business

Simple Provisions has been part of several parties we have hosted while visiting our favorite city. Communication with them is easy & precise. The food is reliably fresh, beautiful, and flavorful. We added a new request this time as a loved one has been diagnosed with Celiac Disease. It is such a relief to know caterers who can be trusted to adapt favorite recipes, I.e. gluten free crab cakes, to make food safely for all our guests. Would love to sit down w Tess & Blake sometime and hear all their good food stories!

They mark GF items on their menu, but not all are celiac safe. Their chips and fries are cooked in the same fryer as the breaded onion rings, so are not safe if you have celiac, but may be ok if you’re gluten intolerant. Most tacos can be made GF by substituting corn tortillas. And their birria tacos can be made without being fried or they can pan fry them if you ask. Burritos can be made into bowls. I honestly had an amazing lunch here and would come back. Just sad I couldn’t have their chips and salsa.

This place was a last minute lunch choice and I’m so glad I stopped in! The gluten free bread option is full sized slices and the sandwich’s are so good! The staff was friendly and happy to give me the gluten free menu. The hibiscus tea is 10/10 and I highly recommend Jason’s Deli!

Great with kids! We stopped here on our way into Charleston! Great food, beer, and ambiance. We walked in and found free games to play and kid movies in the TVs. Food choices are plentiful, and they even have gluten-free & vegan options. Ask for April; she’s awesome.

Alright, alright! I stopped in to the just opened @Cafe Roca in West Ashley this morning. I got greeted like an old friend by the two owners Joe and Shannon.
I had one of the best Cortado's that I've ever had and I tried their Breakfast Wontons made with Herbed Cream Cheese, scrambled egg, bacon, (sushi)Eel Sauce, Sriracha Aioli and Scallions. They were spot on delicious! I also grabbed a couple.of Gluten Free Donuts that were also great. **Went back today and had a Bagel with Lox! It hit the mark!**
The vibe is everything we need and want in West Ashley. Cool and inviting with books and even a music nook with headphones if you want to listen to music as you sip and eat. Great music is playing throughout the space for all to enjoy. I ended up spending 30 minutes talking with other customers from the area about food and restaurants we love. This is a real feel good neighborhood place.

“Big salad” is a must to try. I was obsessed with their green olives on salad. For pizza I ordered mushroom with added bacon. Tasted so good. Next time I would ask them to do gluten free crust maybe which is thinner. I love thin crust. The only downfall of the pizza was excessive amount of grease which I think came from bacon and caramelized onion. Other than that, it was just perfect.
Definitely try your own favorite pizza. You will love it.

I wish I had discovered this place earlier. The views are incredible and the food is delicious. I tried the Ribs and they were the best I've ever had. They have a great selection of gluten-free options as well. Thank you to the chefs for an outstanding experience!
The food was fresh, delicious, and there were great healthy options for vegetarians, vegans, and those with gluten sensitivities. The prices were great as well. The only complaints to be had were that it seemed a little small and cramped (though really not that bad) and that the frozen margaritas weren't really frozen margaritas...more like a margarita on the rocks with some ice slush swirled in. Still good, just not your typical frozen marg!

It was delicious and beautiful. I am in the area for work for a while and one of my new goals is to work my way through the menu. They have so many flavors and presentations. I think I want to try the taco next. The "sushi roll" looks delicious as well. You get uniform bites of goodness each time. I loved my first attempt and it certainly won't be my last. They even have vegan and gluten free options so I can bring my vegan coworker.

I stopped in during our vacation to Charleston to pick up basic lunch and breakfast supplies. The employees were friendly and helpful to an out of towner who was having trouble finding things. I found everything I needed. For those looking for gluten free options, you should know that there is no separate section of the store for them, but they do have them mixed in with the normal (with gluten) food.
I would definitely go there again.
Ordered a gluten free breakfast wrap and juice online. After an initial mix-up got the right wrap and it was delicious! The GF one has speckles just FYI.

If you want an amazing experience, go to R Kitchen. I am vegan gluten-free and my friend eats a main stream American diet and we both had the best meal either of us have had in years. As a professional chef, I can say it was a beautifully balanced meal full of surprises! Bravo! My new favorite restaurant in Charleston SC. Check it out!!

Finally tried this for lunch . The atmosphere is amazing. Very cute and welcoming. Walked in and was greeted cheerfully by the bartender who was so friendly and helpful. I have celiac disease and the lunch menu doesn’t offer a ton of options, however the salad I chose was delicious. The highlight for me were the macrons. Most of the flavors are gluten free which the bartender took the time to show me which ones were and were not. They were phenomenal. I am definitely going back for dinner soon!

This has to be the worst experience I have had in Charleston and we eat out A LOT. I honestly rarely write reviews but this has really stuck with me and I don’t want someone else to waste their money like we did. This place is close to home and we wanted to grab something quick. It was also a Monday and a lot of places are closed, which is how/why we wound up deciding to try No Bull. First of all, the service was beyond terrible. I asked how the chicken fingers were, hoping to get some feedback to help me decide what to order and her response was “I don’t know, I’m gluten free and never tried them”. I was in the service industry for yearssss, so I was hoping she could at least let me know if they’re popular or if people tend to like them. Second, my boyfriend asked if he could change something on his burger (which was an easy change), and she said, “I’m not sure, I’ll ask”. She never got back to us about it, and when we got home to eat it, the change was never made. Lastly in regards to the service, after we gave her our card to close out, she came back and said that she closed out our tab on someone else’s card that had already left and asked if we would mind paying their tab so that she could close it out. Meanwhile, she didn’t give us an itemized receipt, and we definitely wound up paying a more expensive tab than we would have if it was our own tab. It was so odd. By the way, she literally only had 2 tables the whole time we were there. Us, and the other table we paid for. At that point, we just wanted to leave. Now for the food. We eat out at least 5 nights a week, and this was the worst food I’ve had yet in Charleston. The chicken fingers were quite literally flavorless and all of the breading was falling off. The fries were the worst fries I have ever had and we even tried putting them in our air fryer to make them better. Didn’t work. My boyfriend, who will even eat McDonald’s, couldn’t even finish his burger and wound up heating up leftovers we had in our fridge. Needless to say, we won’t be going back and I’m just all around frustrated by the whole experience.
Wonderful experience tonight for my daughter's birthday. They were more then accommodating for our large group. Delicious food, the crab legs were Fantastic. Attentive service with friendly servers. Overall very happy with our visit and we will definitely be back! Thank you. Gluten free options available. They use separate pot to steam the crab legs and shrimp.

The food was great. My husband is fully gluten free and while their menu doesn’t have any gluten free options, they were able to put together a grilled chicken salad for my husband and there was no cross contamination!
