My dining experience has always been amazing here. James was my waiter tonight and was great! He made sure that my food was gluten free because I have an allergy. The beef fajitas are a huge hit and my personal favorite.
This is hands down the best seafood we have ever had. The service that Nae Nae provided was outstanding, and she made sure we had the best and enjoyed all of it! (She even made sure all of my food was gluten free!) I just can't say enough about how amazing the food is!
I have celiacs, and this place has options! They use cornmeal for the fish. Fries were amazing too, since there is never flour in their oil. I was so excited! I ate fish and chips!
Nice little store. I was surprised at the bit of Organic and Gluten free options even if few, still better than none and more than some stores I have been in. We’re pretty picky on our groceries and realized once getting to our RV park that there are not really any main grocery stores anywhere near except over the ferry in Galveston, till we realized this Ace is also a Grocery and general store and a bank! It didn’t fulfill our whole grocery needs but fills a niche for a few staples until we get to the Mainland for more of our items.
I have to dock a star because some of the gift shop or general store items were a bit silly priced. I only glanced but like a kids rain poncho that was $50. That seems exorbitant.
But the hardware store was well stocked and priced well from all the things we looked at. Good amount of RV items too surprisingly and well priced. And the staff was attentive, friendly and helpful in all parts of the store.
We were pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Our waiter was even knowledgeable about gluten allergies and that made it a lot easier to order. He was also very friendly and attentive.
