We love this place! The food is delicious, they have gluten-free options for breakfast, and the staff and owners are so friendly! The biscuits are delicious! Don't forget the freshly squeezed OJ and the mimosas! They're own for breakfast and lunch. Check them out!
Very impressed with dish quality and flavors-- so much so that we visited twice during our visit to the Wylie area.
The gluten-free menu and careful attention to food allergies is a big plus.
Service was flawless both times, Josh is the best!
Their cakes are absolutely beautiful! Husband and wife owned . They offer gluten-free cupcakes, and you can order a gluten-free cake. They also have gluten-free ice cream macaroons that are the size of the cupcakes. I ended up getting the raspberry gluten-free cupcake. It was definitely a great choice. The icing is rich but not overly sweet, and the cupcake was made with actual raspberries! It wasn't dry like a lot of gluten-free food, and it wasn't crumbly either. Finding gluten-free anything is hard, and cooking with gluten-free flour is hard but they do a great job . The picture is the lemon cupcake my husband got, it is made with gluten . We paid $5 per cupcake and it was totally worth it. Oh, they also offer cookies, cake pops and cannoli's .
Quaint, little, Italian restaurant in the heart of historic Wylie downtown! Perfect atmosphere, service, and food. Yaya, our waiter, was courteous and very attentive, made the experience.
Food was phenomenal. Got Caesar salad and meatballs for apps and chicken parm and eggplant parm (over mashed potatoes instead of pasta to make it gluten free) and they were all incredible.
Tasty chocolate cake afterwards, too 😋
Perhaps a go-to place for to-go sushi. The preparation exceeds that of its peers in the general area without over saturated menu choices. Definitely better than the preparations at buffet joints where sushi is simply a checklist item.
The tempura batter and frying oil were different from general expectations but certainly no complaints for either ingredient. The udon soup was a pleasant surprise owing to the use of fresh ingredients rather than pre-packaged mix - a tell-tale sign that management values culinary enjoyment by patrons.
It may be a bit too much to expect detailed ingredients list for each item but having allergy alerts (nuts, sesame seed, gluten, etc.) would go a long way in setting a higher level of service.
Not disappointed at all when craving for slightly above average sushi.
Updating my review. The salad (specifically the Chicken Avocado Cobb) is the best fast-food type salad I have found. It's huge, they put a lot of ingredients on top, and everything seems really fresh.
Quick friendly service. If you are interested at all in gluten free options, their sandwich bread is really good but I recommend having them toast it an extra time.
