I’m so grateful we have a healthy and casual cafe in the Juanita Village area! I’m gluten- and dairy-free, and I have no problem finding dining options. The food always tastes healthy and fresh. I think the price is fair for the quality. I always have leftovers to take home, but I have a small to medium appetite. The sustainable packaging is great, and I love the snack options. The zucchini matcha muffin is delicious! My favorite meal is the vegetable and rice bowl, but the chicken sandwich and the breakfast sandwich is also delicious. I removed a star for the atmosphere: it’s better since they walled off the pharmacy/practitioner area but it’s still cold and a bit clinical inside. Either there’s no background music at all, or it’s internet radio with ads and synthesized instruments. Sometimes I feel like I’m interrupting some of the staff (but other staff members are friendly). Still, it’s one of my favorite places to meet a friend for breakfast or lunch. I never feel hurried, and I always feel good after I eat there. It’s often pretty quiet inside; I hope they get good business so they can stay here for years to come!

I ordered a latte and it was warm, not hot. Someone else made it for me and said he would make it extra hot, but it was also just warm. I just wanted a hot latte that I could sip at the beginning, but both of their attempts returned one that I could have immediately gulped down. On the plus side, the latte did taste great. The people are really nice and the leaf pattern on the top of the latte was very impressive. They also have a bunch of pastries, but all of their gluten-free options had already sold out when I was there in the early afternoon. I would try other places around nearby before I go back to this place.

I recently had stopped in on my lunch break to grab a to-go order here and had a great experience. I asked the very kind lady at the front desk for her order recommendation and she was excited to give me details about some of their popular dishes. I went with the Tonkotsu Shoyu and was very impressed, the broth was thick and rich and the pork serving was of good size and very tender with the perfect amount of fat. Also, upon inspecting the menu I noticed that they also have a Gluten Free noodle option! This means both myself and my girlfriend can enjoy the food here, huge plus!!
