The actually gluten free options are limited and my food has consistently come out lukewarm every time I’ve eaten here. Waffles and pancakes are cooked on shared equipment/surfaces. They do claim to have a gluten free fryer for the potatoes and toaster for bread. I’ve eaten the potatoes with no reaction but haven’t chanced the bread as it’s common to get moody servers when it’s busy who don’t want to be helpful.

Staying in a hotel on the next block and stumbled across this place. It was AMAZING! If you’re Gluten Free know that they have GF buns and crackers so most of the menu items can be adjusted. Loved this place. Will definitely be back.

If you have dietary restrictions related to gluten, don’t go here. Even after a double check request confirming an entree was gluten free and prepared to eliminate cross contamination, it was served with a tortilla, that wasn’t gluten free.
Server stated they get it right 9 out of 10 times, stated after serving the meal. 90% is not good for those who are effected by gluten.
Manager came over and confirmed it absolutely was not gluten free. And stated they would
Cover medical expenses. Just saying that should send up flares. So, no controls here, training is an issue, BS statements and so on.

We had a wonderful Mother’s Day experience this year, and they were very kind and considerate of my mother’s gluten allergy. Will be going back!

Went on a Saturday afternoon at the suggestion of a friend I was visiting in the area. I was surprised it was so slow in there during lunch time, we were 1 of 3 parties that were being served and there appeared to only be 3 or 4 people staffed.
Ambience was nice with flowers on the tables and decorative vases holding chopsticks. The host/bartender promptly seated us. His service was decent minus our table needing to awkwardly ask for a copy of the menu back so we could order drinks since he whisked them away as soon as we ordered our entrees under the assumption we only wanted waters. (kinda surprised there wasn’t a separate drink menu on the tables tbh?)
Our food came out pretty quickly, but my Stonepot Bibimbap took so long to cool down to an edible temperature that the rest of my party ate most of their food before I could get to mine. I wish the server offered to package mine up to go for me because the bowl was still too hot to hold (and also really heavy) so it was physically difficult to transfer without burning yourself. Of what I was able to eat of my dish in the restaurant I didn’t get too far because of something so spicy in it that my stomach started turning (whatever was to the right of the egg). This was confusing as the menu description listed spicy gochujang as coming on the *side* (which it did, and was delicious but wasn’t spicy?). The egg on top was cooked perfectly and the presentation was colorful. The beef was tender.
The complimentary kimchi was a nice touch and heat level, as well. The menu could benefit from little pepper symbols 🌶️ to denote spiciness in dishes.
Nice amount of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options on the menu, our drinks were good.
Given the higher price point and lack of gluten-free entree options on the menu (two currently) it might be a while before I’d consider coming back.

Everything was excellent! Our server was very attentive. My husband is GF and the server explained everything that could be made gluten free. Love how a chef delivers the food to the table. We started with warms olives and feta, meatballs, and the whipped cheese. It was all delicious. My husband ordered the Branzino GF. They subbed Broccolini for the cous cous. He said it was amazing!! My BIL ordered Hanger Steak and said it was fantastic. Didn't even need a steak knife to cut it. My SIL and I both ordered pizzas. She said her Margherita was really good. I enjoyed my Truffle pizza. The only thing I would add to mine would be a hot honey drizzle or something just to round out the flavor. But it was still very good and large. Looking forward to the leftovers.
The cocktails were also fun and inventive. The Montebello was delicious. And I was told that the Fig Old Fashioned was great too.
We walked around after dinner and then came back to the bar for dessert. The chocolate dessert is GF (can't remember the name). My husband enjoyed it. I tried the Butter cake with toffee ice cream. It was sinfully delicious. I was just too full to finish. It brought me back to when I was kid a Christmas time....(like the flashback in Ratatouille 🩷) I wish I could have finished. If we are ever in Milwaukee again, we will definitely be back!!!

I attempted to order online with my fiancee; I have allergies to wheat and eggs, and made my order as such. I had my entire half of the order cancelled rather than having been contacted, presumably because they were out of the gluten-free buns I needed or something like that? I don't know, because they didn't bother to call.

On vacation and I love good poke which is hard to find. I have to eat gluten-free and this was the only one of the Poke restaurants near the Riverwalk that indicated which menu items had gluten in it! It made it easy for me to safely eat here. Food was very tasty, my partner and I each got poke bowls, a Philadelphia roll, and then I tried Boba tea for the first time (I got mango and it was delicious).
The staff were very helpful when we ordered since we had never been here before.

Riley's is a unicorn in Milwaukee. The food is amazing and they keep adding more great options (including gluten free) to the menu. They offer some of the best (and most consistent) cocktails in town. You can bring your dogs and the entire staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome every time you walk in the door. Keep up the great work!
