Bare Witness is in a beautiful location on the Parramatta River but my dining companions and I left very disappointed with the food offerings.
Firstly, there were no gluten free main meals on offer so I ordered the kids chicken and salad. What was served was sub standard - some old pieces of iceberg lettuce in a small bowl with a small piece of grilled chicken on top. I would not have served this to my family at home. The chips were burnt. The waitress was kind enough to take the chips back to the kitchen but they were returned - the chef says they are not burnt. The Maitre D was very helpful and I ended up being given prosciutto and melon from the starters menu for dinner (at no cost). It was sufficient but four pieces of prosciutto and some thinly sliced rockmelon isn't really a dinner.
My friends who ordered from the main menu were disappointed with the small serving sizes, the flavour and the cost. We were then charged for two bottles of wine when we only ordered one. I do not like complaining and being a 'karen' but we all walked away very disappointed
Had such an incredible time at Andiamo! Not only was the food great, but the service was amazing! Our waitress, Angelina, was absolutely fantastic. Not only was she so bubbly and welcoming, she was incredibly attentive. She went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and had a great night - even going as far as surprising my father with complimentary Limoncello and sang happy birthday with some of the other servers after finding out we were celebrating his birthday. It was so lovely!
On top of all that, my sister is coeliac and Angelina was incredibly understanding and helpful when it came to which meals she could and could not eat.
Will definitely be coming back!
Yum! The bacon and egg roll has two eggs and a generous amount of bacon- amazing! There were plenty of gluten free options on the menu and the fresh juice was delicious. The staff were super helpful and the food came out really quick (a nice surprise since we went for brunch on Mother's Day!).
Located next to the foot bridge to Wentworth Point with a view of Homebush Bay. Modern selection of food, good range and all yummy so far. Caters for Celiacs with gluten free foud as well. Nice service and friendly. Not cheap, medium range. Has dinner service which is nice when outside as on bay.
Overall, has a good ambience.
Food - very good serve I would say (large) can have 2 people. Or I don’t eat much maybe that’s what I feel that way. Did the best to accomodate dietary restrictions (have gluten friendly) on their menu. I give you 10 for that. Mash wasn’t the best.
Service - Patrons were quick to service me. Thank you for that.
I will come again with someone to help me the dishes too much. Overall best experience.Patrons kids friendly. Sure recommend
