Great little tempura bar. We went all in with no regrets. Small salad to start, cucumber salad next (delicious sesame oil and sesame seeds), multiple types of seafood and vegetable tempura, cold noodles, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream with honey.
The experience was great. Sitting at the bar, the owner/chef cooked a few pieces of tempura at a time so each piece was fresh and delicious, versus a whole plate that sits and get soggy (a typical tempura meal). The tempura was light and flakey, the vegetables fresh and the seafood just melted in your mouth (shrimp, squid, whitefish, scallop!, conger eel).
Best part… all gluten free with much care for my dietary needs, but you’d have never known this was gluten free, it was that good (says the hubby who can eat gluten!)

The pork literally melted in my mouth. Actually first time when the broth didn't make my stomach heavy for being too greasy. I'm curious about what goes in the soup stock and cooking methods here. The seasoning was perfect and the soup makes one crave something even more. The amount of green onion was perfect and goes so well with the ramen. Just delicious.
Heck who cares about customer service when the food is good and affordable. Great for quick bite to eat in cold weather.
They have gluten free noodle, but sadly maybe the broth isn't gluten free because I still got reaction. Or maybe it's not lactose free, but is it normal to add milk in the soup stock? Maybe the stock is gluten free and I got delayed reaction from somewhere. I'm not too sure...maybe I wouldn't recommend this place for wheat allergist or sensitive celiac. But, it was delicious.
A detailed menu highlights the owner's commitment to customer care, making it easy for those with allergies to find their options.

I would like to thank the owner for caring about people with allergies and providing a full and detailed menu. I would be pleased with more options for people who are gluten-free but I understand it’s not your core business. I am adding pictures of allergy menu to help people find what they can eat before visiting you.
