During our visit to Den Bosch we had lunch at Van Puffelen - Eetcafé & Meer! The waiter was in a hurry to take the drinks order, but delayed in taking the food. Those who eat gluten-free have a wide choice of sandwiches, salads and more! The sandwiches are generously filled and taste very good. We were also positively surprised by the price-quality ratio. Although you can tell that the restaurant has invested in making the space less noisy, it is very loud in the restaurant.

Charlie is more of an indoor playground with dining facilities than a restaurant, although the name 'family restaurant' probably gives that away. The atmosphere is completely aimed at children and families, which is great if that is what you are specifically looking for. The menu also reflects this and therefore offers few surprises. Compliments for the extensive gluten-free range, which was not necessary for us, but was very positive. What was disappointing was the lack of service. Nowadays you order everything via a tablet, which means there is hardly any interaction with the staff. That feels impersonal and makes it less hospitable. A solution for staff shortages, but it does detract from the experience of service. The food is really overpriced for what you get. In short: if your children want to play, this can be a handy place to have something to eat.

The childcare and children's menu were perfect, the drinks were fun, the food was tasty, special, and something for everyone: vegans, gluten-free, meat eaters, and kids! Went there for a family meeting and dinner and the food was really really good! Nice that there are both gluten-free and lactose-free options! You don't often see that in Italian restaurants. Friendly service. It might be useful to provide lactose-free/vegan cheese because there was none. Pasta without cheese is not the same. For the rest it's nice to sit. There is also a wheelchair toilet, so it's nice that it is accessible to everyone.

A late lunch... Delicious food and plenty of gluten-free options. I could choose almost anything, even the pancakes. Ultimately opted for a sandwich with tuna salad. Very tasty! What a great pizza place! I love it. This is recommended by an Italian colleague living in Eindhoven as it is their go-to place. The place provides a variety of pizza options, and I was suggested Burrata and Mortadella. I loved it, and I was so full. Apart from that, the place also provides gluten-free dough options.

I have never eaten such a disgusting gluten-free pizza as today, gluten-free pizza with anchovies, the base is like a rubber shoe sole. There were literally 3 pieces of anchovies on the pizza and for the rest a mountain of capers and a mountain of olives! And then the pizza was lukewarm too!!! A very nice location. Especially for children. The indoor and outdoor playground were very nice and the children enjoyed themselves. We felt that the pancakes were not all freshly made, judging by the sticker we found under one of the pancakes with (probably) the preparation date. The service was great and resolved the issue well. They deserve a big compliment. New pancake and a free drink. There was also quite a choice for people with lactose and gluten intolerance. And if you don't want a pancake you can also get fries, satay or a hamburger. The Halloween pancakes were a great idea for the children.

It is a small, cozy Italian restaurant. The tables are very close together (I personally don't like this). You can, so to speak, enjoy the conversations that are being had next to you. The service was friendly, but the drinks took a bit long (given that there were not many people present at the time). The food, on the other hand, was really great!! The gluten-free pizza was really delicious, as if I were eating a normal pizza. Furthermore, besides the pizza, there were few gluten-free options, but I take that for granted.
