Coeliac friendly. Food was stunning. Great set menu. Service good but server didn’t know much about what the menu consisted of when asked. The only thing that put me off in here was the air con unit (may have been on heat) was soo loud. We asked for it to be turned off and the server was so used to it she couldn’t hear it! We
convinced her it was the unit which she then had turned off. Other customers around us were thankful we had asked 🤣 we then had a very lovely time

Best fish with gluten-free options, best chips, best customer service given by Ray the owner!! My fave are the cod chunks, battered sausage, and everything else..and I drove 30 minutes just to get this x
We hadn't been here before despite it being in our town. We understand it's had a refurbishment and has a new chef and whilst we thought the menu was good it was a bit limited and a little expensive. The food was really good but things like 'new potatoes' need expanding on so the boiled or steamed version that was expected don't turn out to be par boiled then roasted. The staff were attentive but not overbearing and the sight of one of the staff almost running to our table to alert us that one of the dishes that had been delivered wasn't gluten free, knowing one of our group was gluten intolerant, was outstanding. I can see us returning.

We come here a few times a year and the food is always very good, the service consistent and the atmosphere very relaxed.
Had lobster linguine which was great and included a couple of impressive lobster pieces. We also had the sea bream fillet, and the shellfish chowder and scallops.
Not inexpensive, but worth it. Oh, and during the day there are good sea views from many tables, and there’s a decent wine selection too.
Always reliable for Coeliacs.
