A quirky spot by the lake with a lovely outdoor vibe, a huge selection of ales, and plenty of space for kids and dogs to enjoy!

The Bar has a huge selection. Hugely impressed with Gluten free beer and a good Gluten free food menu. We went for both nights that we stayed at The Haven. The seafood was very fresh.
Absolutely lovely warm afternoon tea. They did a lovely Gluten-free option afternoon tea for my daughter who has Coeliacs. Lovely friendly staff, lovely atmospher.
Only downside was at the end they informed us that my daughter's lovely Gluten-free option of the same style food we had all had was actually priced dearer than our afternoon teas that were already £19.95 each. Her's was £21.95 (Yes only £2, but it's the principle!) for having a medical condition requiring no option but to need a gluten free diet. Not a fad diet. Was impressed with their thoughtfulness of GF option until this point
Beautiful sea front view from outside and modern interior. The regular breakfast was great but the gluten free breakfast was not. I suspect the gf was cooked to order, which is greatly appreciated, but everything was really under done in comparison to the normal breakfast. The mushrooms were bordering on raw.
Having said that, I would return as it was good for everyone else and the service was great
