I was so impressed with the gluten free menu they have! And it tasted amazing. We came on Friday and the staff were very friendly and the service was great. It can get busy outside for parking so we had to park in St Mary’s in the end but that isn’t the restaurants fault.

Absolutely disgusted by the treatment I faced today in @ASKItalian Colchester by I believe was the chef who refused to give me his name but he was large and had no hair! He didn’t want to serve me a gluten free pizza without a sausage! He was extremely rude it was embarrassing.

We popped in here on Fathers Day never heard if this pub before we highly recommend it ! DOG FRIENDLY ! children friendly too Just overall friendly great polite service with a smile nothing too much trouble gluten free Fish & Chips were lovely as was the roasts ! The chef found us a table at short notice, which was brilliant. The garden was lovely, with a great view. The fish starters were delicious. I had swordfish, for my main and my friend had, Cromer dressed crab. Also catered for gluten free. Both meals were superb. The staff were friendly and professional.

What a lovely place with such excellent service and really yummy Sunday roast. There is never enough gravy in most subday roasts but not at Mersea Barns! A whole gravy boat for the table! My kids have allergies and so many places we go to eat it's complicated and we are made to feel like an inconvenience but the staff at Mersea Barns went out of their way to be kind and accomidate our dietary needs. Good to see a couple of dairy free/ gluten free things at the counter too makes a world of difference to feel included when you have allergies.

Fantastic seafood and service! The staff were knowledgeable and caring about dietary requirements (gluten and dairy free was no problem at all) and they were able to easily adapt most items on the menu, even going out of their way to make sure that a dessert option was available (we had pre warned of our dietary needs when booking). Dogs were welcome outside (although not in the restaurant itself) and, although facing the road, it was a pleasant and relaxing place to sit and enjoy the sunshine. We will definitely be back!.

Naka Thai recently moved out of the city to the outskirts of a commercial area. 15 minutes from the center. Now it has a free parking lot. Everything is new inside. The service is very friendly and the menu offers a large selection. spiciness, calories, vegetarian or vegan; Gluten: everything can be put together optionally. We would dine there again at any time.

Absolutely had a lovely time at this restaurant today. The staff were absolutely unreal and helped me with the gluten free menu. Nothing was too much for them. Definitely recommend. And the warm chocolate pud is a must!!!

Great sushi, very fresh and nicely decorated restaurant. I have coeliac disease (gluten allergy) and I was able to have most of the sushi. They were knowledgeable about my allergy and even had gluten free soy sauce. Our waiter Omer was great, very attentive and friendly. We would definitely recommend coming here

One of “the” BEST restaurants I have been in a while. I am Coeliac. They were brilliant with GF options and all round just brilliant service. A family run business… huge portions as well so much so I ended up with doggy bag as the food was too delicious to waste. 💯 recommend

Fantastic experience. Incredibly accommodating with us where we had a member of our party in a wheelchair. Service was fantastic. Incredibly friendly and helpful. Staff let us know when they had food at the buffet redone. Rui and William were wonderful, Rui brought our meat around and helped one of our party with getting the meat cooked at the right level for them. The food was brilliantly cooked and so tasteful and a lot of variety for our gluten free child. William made sure that we were well attended and that everything was OK for us and made sure that we had enough drinks. We've been before and will definitely come back again. Thanks for a wonderful meal.

An absolutely gem of an Indian. Above and beyond the normal run of the mill. A really small select menu. Extremely Tasty and well cooked with proper chicken! Not processed!! You will not be disappointed. Nice to see a different Indian that caters for Gluten free.

We had a wonderful lunch. The 3 of us shared a seafood appetiser platter and my son and I each had pho and my husband some beef dish. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. The waitress wasn't extremely knowledgeable but tried to be helpful. There's a lot of gluten free and vegan options available as well, even for dessert. My son was asking to go back again before we'd even finished! I only wish we lived closer!

It's a really lovely, unique place. And the gluten free pizza was the best I've found in Colchester. It was served cold and then when it was heated for me, the parma ham hadn't been removed, so it was sweaty and tasted weird! I hate complaining a second time, so I pulled a lot of it off

Popped in after a visit to the dentists, hoping to grab some breakfast, but I was too late as it was 12pm. However, the lovely staff member did me a strong black coffee (very tasty, strong without being too bitter), offered me some toast and tried to cater to my gluten free diet, and later on returned with a packet of GF crisps as they had finished breakfast time. Very thoughtful service, and the sofas at the front of the shop are extremely comfortable, I did not want to leave.

The food was amazing and with one person in our party being gluten intolerant they went above and beyond to accommodate her dietary requirements. The waiter we had was so attentive with a refreshing sense of humour. We will definitely come back again! The only negative I can say is that we were one of two tables so the atmosphere was subdued but the food and especially the service was outstanding.
