First time visiting Tuckers and was very impressed! Gluten free chips and friendly service. We even ordered another portion of the chips as they were so tasty! Dog friendly and went the extra mile with a free sausage for him that they had spare. Will be visiting again and letting my gluten free friends know about this hidden treasure! We finished off with ice creams, (we ate the chips too quick to take a photo!)

Lovely fish n chips. Gluten free was poached fish and chips not batter but looked good. Friendly service, clean and accommodating for wheelchair user and furry friend.

Great drinks, lovely staff, a nice atmosphere and delicious food! I'd especially recommend it for any coeliacs / gluten free people as there's lots of safe options cooked in a separate fryer. Well priced pints with a good selection that you can enjoy inside, by the fish pond, or up on the terrace :)

We had the seafood platter for 2 , my partner is a coeliac so they did not batter the squid and he had gluten free bread and crackers. 1 surf and turf , 1 mussels both really generous and the sauce for the mussels gorgeous , you have to try it . I had a amazing Guinness cake with rum raisin ice cream and he had Bakewell brûlée dessert with gluten free shortbread. Here is why I think this place is excellent : Flavour on each dish fresh and cooked perfectly Service is friendly & relaxed Gluten free option not just removing items with wheat and charging you the same price it is amazing how often this happens elsewhere. Good portions my other half is not easy to fill ! Enough choice on the menu ( too many choices is a bit of a warning sign in any place) but there is something for everyone. Food cooked in the restaurant , you can see it’s cooked fresh and the hygiene is on point as well as fun to watch . I will definitely return , you can book online save me a seat though !
