It's a busy place. For a couple, it might be too noisy. You feel you need to shout to talk to each other. Might be a good place to have a gathering . Staff are friendly and the food is decent. Cocktails were not so appealing but okay. Reasonable choices of food and drinks. You have to pay extra if you want gluten free.

Had a lovely lunch yesterday for Hogmanay. The setting looking out over the water is lovely, even on a dreich day. The food was lovely and our gluten free and vegetarian party members were well catered for. Special mention to the 2 ladies who looked after us, they were funny and attentive and worth a visit for their chat alone. We had amongst other things, burgers, a veggie burger, scampi and also soup, all were lovely. I'd happily and without hesitation recommend the Laird's Table and definitely plan on more visits in 2025.
This venue offers a cozy atmosphere enhanced by 80s music, creating an inviting and lively environment ideal for gluten-free diners. Was there for my mum's 93rd birthday dinner. The staff could not have been any more attentive than they were. The food was excellent and the portions generous. There was nine of us and everyone was very satisfied with the meal. One of the party is gluten free and she was very happy with the choice she could make.
