The envirinment is well past it's best and interior tables are too close together for comfort. The toilets badly need refurbishing and the water is cold.
They don't cater to gluten intolerance - there's only a single fryer for all food and no gluten free alternative to gluten containing items like sausages. They do offer a GF bread but it's cheap.

Lovely venue with a real log fire and cosy comfortable seating. Everyone else in the party I was part of really enjoyed their meal, including my coeliac husband, but I was rather disappointed as there was only one vegetarian main which was not overly exciting so I ended up with a starter and a side. What I had was nice but more variety for those of us who don't eat meat would have been better and would probably encourage more veggies to dine here.
