Was greeted and made to feel at home by Cheryl and Anas. They have a good selection of halal and gluten free options. The batter used was light and not stodgy making their fish and deep fried mars bar absolutely delicious. Highly recommended for anybody visiting Glasgow especially East Kilbride to head over there, you won’t be disappointed

Love Ricos, we went for brunch and especially as it has Gluten and dairy free options. Staff are so lovely.
We had GF full breakfast and I had french toast with fruit brulee, maple syrup with black berries and blue berries. Coffee was great, I had pomegranate sanpellgrino soft drink, loved it.
Everything was delicious.
Was busy and had lovely view of Christmas decorations..

Very family orientated venue, which meant that it was quite loud.
We had a big part and food was out quickly and was delicious.
The only downside is that we weren't asked if we wanted dessert or coffees (possibly because they thought the birthday cake was dessert? And we'd been there a good time so probably wanted to turn the tables) but some of the group would have liked an after dinner hot drink.
Good options of gluten free and the dreaded Allergy Folder was easy to read.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Punjabi Tadka, an Indian restaurant in East Kilbride . Overall, my experience was quite enjoyable.
To start off, the atmosphere was lovely. The interior was decorated with traditional Indian art and the lighting was warm and inviting. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and they were happy to answer any questions I had about the menu.
Speaking of the menu, there were plenty of options to choose from. The restaurant offered a variety of dishes from different regions of India, and I appreciated that they labeled which dishes were vegetarian or gluten-free. I decided to try the Daal Makhni , which was recommended by the waiter, and it did not disappoint. The flavors were bold and delicious, and the portion size was just right.
I also tried a couple of the appetizers, including the Chicken Tikka and the Vegetable Pakora, and they were both fantastic. The naan bread was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the chutneys and sauces that came with the appetizers were flavorful and complemented the dishes well.
Overall, I would highly recommend Punjabi Tadka for anyone looking for delicious Indian cuisine in East Kilbride. The food was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. I will definitely be returning soon.

I had a fantastic experience at Oiishi in East Kilbride! As someone with coeliac disease, finding safe and delicious gluten-free options can be tricky — but Oiishi really delivered.
I started with the Ikaten with Shichimi Chilli – perfectly cooked fried squid with a flavourful kick from the Japanese 7 spice salt. For my main, I went for the Scotch Fillet Steak – it was tender, beautifully cooked, and packed with flavour.
The staff were really friendly and made me feel completely at ease about my dietary requirements, which makes such a difference. It’s great to see a Japanese restaurant take gluten-free dining seriously while still offering a great range of dishes.
Highly recommend if you’re gluten free (or not!) and looking for somewhere new to try in the area. I’ll definitely be back!

They have a selection of gluten free options available. I got a jacket potato and cheese with a side salad, very tasty. But it was hot enough so I asked them to microwave it just to warm it up again. Which they where happy to do. I would definitely go again.
