I've always been tempted by the delicious smells coming from this place while driving through Crescent City, and on this trip, we finally decided to stop in. As someone who is gluten free, I reached out in advance via Facebook to ask about gluten-free options. I was impressed with how quickly they responded and appreciated that they offered several choices.
We went for dinner and chose to sit outside, which offered a lovely view of the water. I ordered the jambalaya, and my husband had the grilled version of their fish and chips. The kitchen was kind enough to modify the dish, since the original was deep fried.
We also shared a half order of fries as an appetizer, and I have to say—the fries were incredible! Perfectly crispy and well-seasoned. The jambalaya was flavorful and packed with meat, but the portion size was surprisingly small. If I hadn't filled up a bit on the fries, I would have left pretty hungry—and honestly, I was a little later on.
My husband’s fish was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, and he really enjoyed his meal.
The prices felt a bit high for the portion sizes.
Enjoy a cozy spot with an artistic vibe, offering hearty portions and plenty of vegetarian options, perfect for a laid-back meal experience.

Lots of vegetarian options and good for gluten free folks!
Wide variety of food and across the board (especially from a European perspective) big portions and delicious!
Great service. Closes early though so make sure to be there before 9pm.
Enjoy large portions and a fantastic variety, perfect for leftovers and a nice change from the usual coastal dining options!

They prepared me a plate of “Creamy Chicken Fettuccine” but Gluten Free!
I told them I was celiac and they changed my pasta and it was delicious!
They also accompany it with a salad or soup before as an appetizer. Everything was amazing
I am celiac, and I felt very comfortable. Everything was delicious.
The attention was incredible.
Staff was very friendly and the restaurant itself was in good shape. The main frustration I had was that there were no real gluten free options. I asked to get an omelet and just substitute the bread out for fruit or vegetables or anything really, but I was limited to bread options and they had no gluten free bread of any kind.
Got served the BIGGEST pile of pulled pork I have ever seen in my life, and it was delicious. I also have a gluten sensitivity and didn't get sick eating here, so all around a great find.
