With stunning mountain views and a spacious setup for large groups, it’s a solid pick for family dinners, despite a rocky start.

My first impression of Allred's was at the host stand, where we encountered a not so friendly hostess. I hate starting my review this way, but it had me worried about how the rest of the evening would go. We arrived a little before our reservation time and wanted to check in with her to let her know we would be going to the bar to order a couple of drinks while we wait for the table/rest of the party to arrive. We were part of a larger party, but only a few of us had arrived at this point and she kept insisting we can't go to the bar because we won't fit- despite repeatedly telling her it was just a few of us, not the entire dinner party. If she had just listened I think we could have gotten on the same page, but she was persistent and unfriendly. Thankfully we were quickly sat and our server helped us order a few bottles of wine.
After that encounter, the rest of our experience at Allred's was great for our family. To start, they accommodated our large party of 19 with ease- split between two tables. I was personally dining with two young children and the server did a great job helping with expediting the 3 year old's plate so that she could start eating before the first course was served to the adults.
The waitstaff was very knowledgeable on dietary allergens and helped me navigate ordering my meal GF (celiac). I had read other reviews on the Find Me Gluten Free app that they used to offer gluten free bread, but I was not offered any. I would love to see that option come back because it felt like I had lots of second course options, but sat empty handed during much of the beginning of the meal as bread was passed around.
The dinner was wonderful- almost everyone at the table ordered some form of meat and enjoyed it. I ordered the filet with scallops and it was cooked to perfection. And the view of the mountains was hard to beat!
Delicious Thai cuisine with a variety of options that leave diners eager to return for more flavorful experiences.

had the pad si ew and thai basil fried rice. a lot of gluten free options! and staff was very aware of celiac. it was delicious. definitely going to be coming back! highly recommend.
Service was ok - food was not! It's as if we got all the last food items of the night they didn't want to throw away instead of making new food. The fries (truffle) were soggy and cold. The burgers were ok, but the gluten free bun was like it was put in a steamer - soggy and useless. No one checked on us to see if our food was good or we needed anything, or asked about drink refills. It wasn't that late, 7:00pm, and there were other diners, but it was like we were a nuisance more than an opportunity.
Good gluten free options! I got the pad Thai and really enjoyed it, the dinner portion is big enough for 2-3 people! Great value for your money and tasty. Get the spice packet to add some heat!
This is one of those places that makes life wonderful. Their potato gnocchi is melt in your mouth delicious. I love the authentic Italian experience, they offer a choice of sparkling, still or tap water and serve fresh bread with oil and balsamic vinegar. This is a must-visit place for my family everytime we come to Telluride.
They understand Celiac needs & can produce a GF meal but no gimmicks here, you'll need to order food that would be gluten free, steak, salad, etc. Great experience and wonderful steak.
