Everyone in our party loved their food. The waiter and kitchen were super accommodating with those at our table who needed gluten free options. The area is lively and fun. Definitely recommend!

Since we're gluten free, we only ever grab the pho. And, typically, at the KCC market since it's easier with kids. Just stopped at the restaurant for lunch on a Saturday and it was great. The broth is absolutely divine. I dream about this broth. I've tried to make broth like this and it pales in comparison (and I really know how to cook). There's some magic in the pho at P & the L and we'll keep getting it as often as we can! Even if it requires a flight from NY 👌💖

Just across the street of my hotel, I found this little jewel of plant based deliciousness. I had the spinach dhal, a salad and a handful falafels. All that for only $13.50. Friendly staff and great music. Lots of choices and all plant based. The majority of dishes were Gluten Free. Will be back, for sure.
Step into a vibrant atmosphere that contrasts its surroundings, perfect for an exciting dining experience, especially on busy weekends.

My new favorite Thai restaurant!! Most delicious of any I’ve been to. Love the atmosphere, with all seating outside.
Very accommodating and able to make lots of dishes vegan, if not already (some have fish sauce.) Appreciate the clear labeling on the menu for vegan and gluten free.
Big portions!
We had to wait for a table for lunch, Fri at 1. So might be a good idea to make reservations.
A real tasty, classy place. Had some business in Chinatown, finished early and decided to stop in for a drink and a pupu which became a couple drinks and a 4 course dinner. What a treat. Our server Desmond, was most attentive and helpful, it was fun eating in the atrium of the Tower and the food was oh so good. The menu included good gluten free options, both in number and taste. Felt like a European eating experience, will return with guests for sure.
Experience a rotating menu of innovative eats with a Japanese twist and delightful surprise offerings every Friday, alongside tasty drinks and sweets.

Mami box makes my favorite hamburger steak in the world. You wouldn’t even know it was gluten free; it actually tastes better than regular hamburger steak. The food here is carefully cooked and presented in a delicious, healthy and aesthetically pleasing way.
Make sure you try the crème brulee! The hot dogs were so good but the pineapple slushies and crème brulee were the best part.
Would not recommend for people with gluten intolerance because all the foods are fried together.
A cozy spot with a chill vibe where reggae music sets the mood, offering tasty vegan dishes and daily-made treats in a unique setup.

Food: Good portions for a good price. The menu’s 100% vegan, and all their meat substitutions are gluten free. I had the BBQ chicken platter, which was a delicious helping of ‘chicken’, salad, and Mac’nCheese. On the side, I drank a tasty pipeline paradise smoothie and some soft serve. Only distraction is the dessert was a little too sweet. Speaking of sweets, they sell daily-made cookies and doughnuts.
Service: the food came quick and they made the chicken extra spicy just for me. Since they don’t have a bathroom, I used the one at a cafe across the street.
Atmosphere: a quaint little restaurant with limited seating outside and interior perimeter. They pump Reggae over the speakers to put everyone at ease.
Middle Eats is SO good! The falafel was so flavorful and the entire dish was delicious. The food is vegan and the falafel dish is gluten free sans the pita. Can’t wait to go back!

The best vegan Asian restaurant on Oahu. Legit vegan Vietnamese that makes me happy to eat the food of my childhood without the meat. Legit experience too. One of my go to places on Oahu. FYI, most items are gluten free (rice and soy being predominant ingredients) except for spring rolls. Parking is a butt. I try to park at public paid lots because street parking is hard to find.
My son and his wife flew in for a visit from the mainland. His first request from the airport is always to satisfy his Poke fix. Obviously, Oahu has an abundance of poke shops to satisfy everyone’s taste. This was his first visit to Kahiau and they hit it out of the park! If you’re looking for a gluten-free option, try there ginger onion version. They’re dried Aku is amazing as well. The best thing about them is the staff. In today’s hectic time, it’s nice to see a smiling face and hear a Mahalo for coming! Get there before 2pm (closing time).
