Our group of 22 had a wonderful dinner and evening at Mio Modo! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Brian and the other staff were kind, efficient snd attentive. Personally, I present a challenge to restaurants because I am plant-based and gluten free plus no/minimal oil, but totally enjoyed the lentil/spinach dish. A beautiful array of desserts were served at the end, and I was especially grateful for the surprise serving of a delicious raspberry sorbet as the staff had obviously understood my limitations! Thank you for the wonderful meal, service and ambiance, Mio Modo!

Came here for my birthday, was an awesome experience. Wonderful atmosphere as well. I have a gluten allergy, and the waiter was very accommodating and helpful. They have awesome gluten free bread, and the gnocchi I got was wonderful. I really appreciate the staff that took the time to make sure I was able to enjoy my dinner! I will definitely be going back for more celebrations/date nights.

Great smaller location with a ton of different pizza crust options!! My wife said the gluten free pizza was one of the best she’s ever had.
Location was great with an upstairs that can be rented out. Lots of different beers on tap with multiple TVs. Higher hung TVs makes it great to still talk with your table while getting a great view.
In downtown St. Charles it can be harder to find parking.
Overall it’s totally worth the trip and I will be going back!! Some great pizza and staff!
With a lively atmosphere and great service, this spot offers a unique experience, although some wish for physical menus.

I'm Gluten free, so when I saw they had a GF menu I was very excited! What I received when I ordered left a lot to be desired. The staff was very accommodating and replaced my meal with a sushi salmon roll wich was good.
Known for its unique allergen-friendly options, this spot serves up hot, ready pizzas with a variety of specialty toppings that never disappoint.

Our favorite pizza place!! Billy bricks is so good, and they are one of the only allergen-friendly pizza places in the area. They have dairy-free cheese and gluten-free crusts. We love the bbq chicken pizza with dairy free cheese, but you really can’t go wrong with any of their speciality pizzas. Pizzas are always hot and ready right on time for pickup.
Expect huge portions and mouthwatering dishes that make every visit a special treat for the entire family.

Some of the best food I have ever had. I have to eat gluten free, which means food typically is terrible. Syrup has the BEST gluten free pancakes I have had. I nearly gave up trying many places around the area. Syrup is a wee bit of a hike for me, however, it is the highlight of my month as I reward myself once a month to this amazing place. My whole family loves it, the price isn't too bad considering the HUGE portions of delicious pancakes. My wife says the skillets are just perfect too, and my toddler also loves the pancakes.
The food is truly fresh, healthy and excellent but what really made this restaurant stand out was the welcoming and generous service of the young woman who handled our take out orders. We picked up lunch to go for the last two days and both times she generously offered for us to sample some other dishes. The first day she offered a bag of their homemade pita chips, imported peach soda and these fabulous dessert treats of fig balls rolled in coconut and tahini. The second day, she offered samples of their Arabic coffee with cardamon and banana bread. This spiced coffee was like nothing we had ever had. Their dolma and tabbouleh were both fresh and delicious. There are many healthy and vegan options. The dishes were not too salty which I appreciate. I think many items may also be gluten free since they include rice. I highly recommend everything we had the pleasure to try.
Loved this place. Food was amazing. Service friendly. Naan was the best ever. I can't have gluten but this was worth it!! Will be back when I'm in the area. Just wish it was closer.
Expect a variety of flavorful rice dishes and unique ingredients that cater to adventurous eaters looking for something different.

Gluten free items. Flavorful soup. Lots of ingredients. I was well certified with my selection.
Not for sensitive eaters who do not eat unusual ingredients like tripe, soften tendon.
Creative and accommodating vibe with a stunning ambiance and a menu that can adapt to your cravings.

I asked for something that wasn't on the menu and it was no problem for them whatsoever. I asked for it to be spicy and gluten free. It was fantastic. I asked for green beans and beef and wow. So good. Xie xie

We love this Rosati’s! They have the most amazing gluten free crust, which we need because my wife has a gluten allergy. Asad, in particular, took care of us with a discount and unrivaled hospitality. We will be regulars!
Stylish vibes and a cozy atmosphere make this spot perfect for winding down with friends over beautifully crafted drinks and shared plates.

Place is outstanding. Straight up 🔥
The menu is outstanding.
And the hot sake, yes please, get that..every time.
Very beautiful restaurant and bar. Very well done and our service was so good. Had an excellent time here.
Had some drinks, had some plates to share. Had some more drinks. It was just an easy place to hang out and try interesting, beautifully made food.
Gluten-free friendly too. A huge + for me
To be fair:
The veggie fried rice was meh
The fuki roll was pretty good
And I've had better martinis
But for me Moto imōto hot hit on the "how" not the "what.". It's probably never going to be nominated for a James Bears Award but I still loved how it made me feel. And for that, I will go back every time. It's a pretty place to eat and we had a good time here.
For that, 10/10 recommend
With a wide menu and a unique ice cream museum, this spot is perfect for groups looking for a fun dining experience.

Loved my breakfast here. I had the best gluten free pancakes with blueberries and my hubby had the regular pancakes which were huge and yummy. The service was great, the staff was really helpful and friendly, the place was clean, and our food came fairly quickly. I highly recommend.
Went for lunch when I was the area and the food was very good. From the outside it looks like an old Popeyes and I was skeptical, but the food was very good and it’s a good deal! Also I’m gluten free and almost everything on the menu is gluten free except the pita. Highly suggest it, wish they had a location up by me as I would go pretty often.
Beautifully designed with a vibrant atmosphere, this place offers an unforgettable experience that exceeds expectations.

Top tier experience. It's more than just pictures, it's the real deal. It's better in real life.
Walked in on a Tuesday, early hour with my date and we both have nothing but good things to say.
The first impression was booming. It's a beautiful space. So beautifully decorated and thoughtfully put together.
Kaylie our server and the bartender was great. Service was prompt and professional. Everyone had a smile and friendly attitude.
The food was 🎉
Lots of gluten-free options, which for me a huge plus. They have a whole gluten-free menu, that's nice to take out the guess work.
Protip: Get the Seven Spicy Tuna of toasted rice or whatever it's technically called. (I'm close enough) lol. So good 🤤🤤🤤
Great experience.
10/10 recommend
Ordered a 14” GLUTEN FREE pizza but when I picked it up (but didn’t realize until I got home and family started eating it) that the pizza WAS NOT GLUTEN FREE EVEN THOUGH I REPEATED IT WHEN I ORDERED IT, I called and told them they messed up my order and was expecting compensation, but nothing 🙄. Oh well, they’ll be last I call next time……
Enjoy a swanky outdoor vibe with top-notch service, where fantastic flavors and special occasion prices make for an unforgettable time.

Sunday June 18, 2023 Father’s Day
My son made a 6 pm reservation for my wife, i and him to celebrate Father’s Day. It was the first time at La Za Za for us. We checked in at 5:50 and were immediately seated at an outdoor table. Lisa our server was at our table within 1 minute of being seated to take our drink orders. Since we were having wine with dinner, we all had sparkling water. We were going to have a gluten free pizza as an appetizer, but Lisa promptly returned and told us that us that was not available. She made a couple of recommendations and we selected the Melanzine Griglia, egg plant stuffed with ricotta, mozzarella & parmigiana cheeses and topped with a tomato basil sauce and mozzarella cheese. I can no longer say I don’t like egg plant, it was fantastic! There was also a bread basket with a bowl of salsa for dipping.
We all ordered a glass of Justin Cabernet wine that Lisa recommended and it was quite nice.
For entrees my wife ordered the 8 oz Filet with roasted potatoes and fresh mixed vegetables. Lisa expertly described the options for how well done the Filet could be cooked. My wife choose medium well and it was cooked exactly as she wanted. My son ordered the 16 oz Ribeye special, also with roasted potatoes and fresh mixed vegetables. I ordered the Vitello Sassi, pan roasted veal with sautéed mushrooms, artichoke hearts & garlic in a light brandy sauce with a side of linguini. All of these ingredients blended together perfectly. I am a big fan of artichoke hearts and in this case they were the best I had ever had. I would give them 6 or 7 stars if that was an option. For dessert my wife was stuffed and passed. My son & I both had the tiramisu and it was great.
I want to highlight our server, Lisa. She had a great personality and talked to us for several minutes about non-food topics. She knew the menu very well and made great recommendations. She checked on us frequently so we were never waiting or wanting for anything.
Finally, La Za Za is expensive, at least to my family. Plan on spending a Benjamin ($100) per person if you get a cocktail, appetizer, wine, entree, dessert and coffee. So La Za Za will be reserved for 2 or 3 special occasions per year. I’ll definitely look forward to them.
In conclusion, I highly recommend La Za Za for a fabulous dining experience and without reservation give it 👍👍👍👍👍
Horrible experience. I made a reservation for 10, but showed up and they didn’t have it. Luckily it wasn’t busy so they seated us. Took a long time for someone to greet us and ask for drink order. Ordered our pizzas and they came out Luke warm, and 1 was supposed to be gluten free and it wasn’t. Took forever to get the correct pizza, finally arrived when we were ready to leave. We never were asked to refill our drinks. SO disappointed.
A hidden gem that impresses with its authentic Italian vibes, making it a must-visit for pizza lovers seeking a delightful surprise.

I love it here! And their gluten (sensitive/free) pizza is amazing. I always have to double check it is because it seems like the regular dough! Also my husband is from Italy and he gives it his stamp of approval.
Hadn't been here for quite a while until I had lunch there the other day.
Just as good as I remember!
The guy who served was helpful and polite without being stiff or annoying.
Very comfortable, pleasant, and straightforward.
The pizzas are really good.
Good dough, great sauce, flavorful cheese, and fresh ingredient.
All around good value.
I have not tried the Cauliflower Gluten-free Crust, nor the regular Gluten-free crust, but I have heard that they are very good.
Enjoy a delightful atmosphere with great food quality and attentive service, perfect for a memorable dining experience.

We took my sister there for dinner in mid November 2024 and had a wonderful time. Every aspect of our visit was wonderful and they even had a good variety of gluten-free foods I could eat (I have celiacs and can’t eat wheat). I will be going back again.
Toasted subs loaded with melted cheese are a hit here, leaving diners thrilled and coming back for more.

I ordered a gluten free sandwich via GrubHub and I am so pleased with how amazing it was!!! I got the American sub and it was toasted with melted cheese and simply delicious. Glad I ordered two to meet the delivery minimum :)
I am so excited!!! I saw that they advertised that they had Gluten free bread. I haven't eaten Subway in a long time due to Gluten allergy. I failed to grab the names of the two people who helped me, but they were both super understanding, changed their gloves, and such. I cannot give enough kudos to both of them. Having a food allergy you get a bit scared to go eat at places, but they did not make me feel bad at all for asking for special bread!! :)
Alter Brewing + Kitchen is a great lunch and dinner spot in St. Charles downtown, right off the river. Good food and excellent beers with great atmosphere all year around. This establishment is pristine, priced right, has friendly service and had plenty of vegan/gluten free options . All in all, a pleasant culinary experience you won’t want to miss. Arrived saturday night 15 min early to a reservation of 2 and was sat right away. Server was great and attentive. We ordered the gluten free flat bread as an appetizer and it was great. Ordered the chicken and steak and it blew us away. The band started as we finished eating and it was very entertaining. We will be returning. Great date night.

I have dined at over 100 Thai places around the country, so this review is from someone that loves Thai food and have tried almost every dish on a Thai restaurant menu.
We had cash delight chicken 9-10
Pad Thai 7-10
Pad khee mao 8-10
We ordered cashew chicken w gluten free sauce, it was very flavorful and the vegetables were cooked to the right firmness.
The seating inside is small, 5 tables? It is decorated in a very modern, clean, and cute decor.
Service was fantastic and the server was very friendly.
For average and casual Thai food diner should love this place!
You will love the cashew chicken, Pad Thai was like every other place, not bad but not amazing.
Overall a great experience!
