I picked Shipwreck for a special dinner for my MIL who has celiac and is it town for mothers day. The reviews are great for their GF options so I was excited but left a little disappointed. We were sat quickly but there seemed to be only 1 server on a Friday night so took awhile for drinks and our ordwe but whatever. When my MIL clarified while ordering that she has Celiac we were notified there's now a $3 uncharge to make sure it's gluten free! While I appreciate the respect to be sure it's prepared properly, we have NEVER heard of this! The server said it would be added onto new menus soon. They also didn't have any gluten free desserts which is mentioned on reviews sometimes as having. Server said they sold out this week. But.. its a Friday night guys come on! MIL said nachos were yummy, although portion was about 2 handfuls of chips and for the $3 extra charge...could be a bit more. My Nashville chicken and sweet potatoe fries were fantastic. Husband and daughters food were good. Everybody truly enjoyed their meal. As somewhere I was hyped to try because of the GF benefits turned out to be a bit of a bummer.
Enjoy bold flavors with a standout spicy meatball bowl and rich mushroom sauce over cheesy mash that keeps guests coming back for more.

I tried the spicy meatball bowl over pasta and I took home a gluten-free chicken meatball bowl. The spicy meatballs were excellent but much spicier than I thought they would be.
My husband liked the chicken meatballs which he had with the mushroom sauce over the cheddar mashed potatoes. I'm glad I tried this restaurant, I would go back next time I'm in the area.
Awesome food
I had the chicken sope platter
You get 3 sopes, the shell is made from corn so they are glutenfree
Fast service and good service
Meal was hot and good
