Massimo is always amazing! The food is delicious, incredible authentic Italian, with a full gluten free menu! The staff is attentive and so friendly, especially the Manager Anna, who always greets us warmly and welcomes us back. The wine and dessert (cannoli) were great, but the entrees were pretty bad. We got the chicken milanese and it was some of the most overcooked chicken we have ever had. The gluten free pasta and sauce were mediocre at best. Not happy with the food, but service was nice and it was a pleasant environment. The water had a very bad after taste also, would not drink.

I went for the special Irish breakfast on a weekday shortly before St. Patrick’s Day. The corned beef dinner knocked my socks off with how smooth it was! Just really commendable that a special could be so perfect. And for just $25! Sat at the chef’s counter and saw the care and cooperation with which dishes were being prepared. Server was friendly, charming, and knowledgeable about gluten restrictions.
Service did seem a tad disorganized. I noticed plates sit on the counter for maybe 3-5 minutes before they went to tables.

We have been coming to Pianta since they first opened. Consistently excellent food and service. No problem getting gluten-free food at the restaurant. Service staff is efficient, pleasant and seems to enjoy what they are doing. Met the chef today - she is terrific.

Great little spot, I got both of the oyster shooters; I enjoyed the Bloody Mary one more than the Mexican.
They're raw oysters were so fresh and flavorful. They were very clean, not gritty or briny.
Updating my review with some photos. We went hard on the APPY HOUR deals. I forgot to snap pictures of the oysters...again! I was just enjoying them too much. I got the diver scallops done Oscar's style, which they altered to fit my gluten free diet. My husband got the Shrimp Cocktail and Lobster Bisque, the Bisque needed more sherry and they could be a little more generous with the Lobster. All he got was that tiny little bit in the photo. Shrimp Cocktail is not worth it.

We got there right before the dinner rush. The staff was kind and knowledgeable about what items were safe for me as a person with Celiac Disease. The Scungilli was fantastic, the snails had a similar texture to octopus, and the portion size was generous enough for my husband and I to share. The Gemelli Gluten Free pasta was quite interesting, but in a good way. My kids both devoured their meals as well which says a lot.
