WARNING! Do not order catering from this location. I'm not sure how the rest of Jersey Mikes do, but I've been screwed over twice by this location. The first time (in April), I ordered a couple of boxes in the morning to get at lunchtime. They told me it would be ready by the time I wanted, but I ended up having to wait a whole hour until I received my food. The second time was a couple of weeks ago (10/24). I ordered 60 sandwiches the day before I needed them, thinking this would help the wait time. I got confirmation and stressed the pick-up time, as we were hosting a workshop. I show up 5 minutes before my time and they had no order for me. The employee on the phone said I would pay when I picked them up, so I did not have a receipt. I showed who I assume was the manager my phone log where I spent 6 minutes discussing my order with their store. He yelled to the other coworkers "who was on the late shift yesterday?" I couldn't tell if he was trying to assign blame or if he was really trying to figure out what happened for my sake (side note: the way that the assistant manager responded to him was disrespectful. The atmosphere seemed pretty unhealthy). Either way, it was a waste of time. The person I spoke to evidently never submitted my order and I needed to feed 60 people in 30 minutes. The manager told me that the AM would discuss what he could do for me. He came up and told me that he can have my sandwiches in 2 hours. That was pretty much a slap in the face and I just walk straight out to figure out my next steps. Unapologetic and rude. I immediately call Potbelly's (who I would have gone with, as they are always easy to work with, but they don't have a gluten-free bread option) and they get my sandwiches to me in 40 minutes. Still late, but they saved me.

When I questioned why the blackened items weren't considered gluten free, she threw up her hands with an exasperated look and promptly handed my party over to another server, Logan. Good food at a reasonable price. Gluten-free options and very aware. Hungry? Get two tacos. Not so hungry? One is perfect. If you get corn tortillas, they give you two and you can split the taco.

I had an amazing catering experience with Banana Leaf Thai Cuisine! The owner, Steve, was so welcoming and went out of his way to ensure that our food was delivered hot and fresh. His southern hospitality really added a special touch to the meal. The food itself was delicious. Whether you’re in the mood for classic dishes like chicken pad Thai or a vegan option like the tofu pad see Iew, you won’t be disappointed. Nice clean place. Had the coconut soup and poke bowl. Good flavors and a variety of diet option modifications like vegan, keto, gluten free. There are a large variety or teas. There is also a point system for discounts and food.

I had Jeff as a waiter and I have to say, he was the BEST waiter I’ve ever had at any restaurant. I have celiac and have to be extremely careful with gluten and cross-contamination. As soon as I told him, he immediately knew what to do. He told me each item that was gluten free and what to replace items with. I had gotten the fajitas which come with beans and rice. When I got my plate, there were only beans. I had asked him and he said the rice wasn’t gluten free, which I didn’t expect! Jeff made my experience there so enjoyable and I felt safe at a restaurant that wasn’t dedicated gluten free. For anyone who has celiac or needs to be extremely careful with gluten, as long as you have Jeff as your waiter, you’ll be safe!

I’m visiting my daughter and we wanted a quick meal. Grant it, it was 4pm. We turn and looked to the right and Chop House Gyro was what was available. We walked in and decided to try the Chick Pea Masala Paneer Bowl. Wow! What a great surprise. We loved it! Funny I’ve read the comments here on the sauces and our meal was perfect! I recommend. The young man behind the counter was very helpful in deciding our gluten free meal and the service was quick. We shared and it was perfect. Atmosphere in the space was orders to go and a big family table.

This has been a restaurant my family has eaten at for 11 years, and it does NOT disappoint. The dishes are true Italian, the ingredients are more than flavorful AND fresh, the atmosphere is hip and fun, and the wait staff is fantastic. They also accommodate very well for gluten sensitive and vegan/vegetarian people! I would recommend the PBR or CBF as a pizza, both have amazing contrast and fantastic flavor.

Solid and consistent products. Matzoh ball soup with kreplach and rice with noodles. Consistency and taste were good. I wouldn't say that the matzoh ball compared to many of the homemade but, size and texture as well as flavor were good and I would order again. The potato knish looked wonderful and our guest demolished it so I assume it was excellent. Also, gluten-free egg roll with corn beef was top notch. Not as good as you would get in New York but we're not trying to compare with New York. For this market it was quite good. We also had a salad and a baked potato. Salad with fresh with a good selection of vegetables and the dressing was also well-made and enjoyable. The baked potato was nothing special. Just a baked potato. Wasn't under cooked to overcook. Was just right. Serve wrapped in foil. For dessert, we purchased Halavah & a fruit filled pastry. They obviously look good enough to purchase but will not know about the taste until later. Service was attentive and appropriate. Overall, I would recommend Cindi's as a delicatessen that I would revisit.

I have a gluten allergy and my family has 2 someones with lactose intolerance and IBS. The grill baste is gluten free and for almost everything you can ask for cheese or croutons on the side/without. The pickle added was a great idea and the pricing isnt that bad. being a smoker made this a real hood experiance with the witty names for the meals. I WILL BE BACK!! Delicious food, amazing service! The owner was super friendly and hilarious. I brought my family here for the halal options, and had asked if they had any gluten free options expecting to eat beans and rice. To my surprise, he said fried chicken was battered in rice flour, and he even offered to let me read hot link ingredients just to make sure. When we ordered beignets, he created something special for me that I’m pretty sure he may have pulled from his personal stash. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience, it felt like he was serving us out of his home. The cafe au lait was also high quality and delicious. We will definitely be back!
