Great food! Good service. I've tried a lot of the items on the menu its all been very good. If you like Asian cuisine give it a try. Lots of gluten-free options. The inside of the place is nothing special, bordering on meh.
This place was charming. It's a building with a lot of character. They have zoodles, so people that have gluten allergies can eat and enjoy Italian Cuisine.
There is a $2 upcharge to get cheese baked on top of your food. This charge is ABSOLUTELY worth it!
The lasagna, chicken alfreado, and piccata were wonderful. However... The chicken marsala which was my husband's dish was awful. I'm not sure if the wine they used was bad or what. But, everything else was great.
I reccomend asking your server for the lemon basil sauce to dip your bread in. It's wonderful!

Most divine, fresh, and delicious sushi in the area with a welcoming family-owned environment. Great deals on lunch specials, even with the nationwide inflation on products. They have great vegetarian options – just ask the waitstaff for recommendations! There are also gluten free options that can be recommended.
One of my personal favorites is the Amazing Roll, with sweet potato substituted instead of shrimp tempura. The Almost Dessert Roll is a must-try as well! One thing I appreciate about the sushi is that they do not drown the rolls in sauce, so you are able to taste the fresh ingredients in balanced bites. More sauce can be served on the side though if you like a little extra!
It is BYOB, so if you’re wanting alcoholic drinks, just plan to bring your sake, wine, etc., with you or walk over to Kroger just around the corner.
Also, as a side note, hibachi is to be discontinued by May 2023. There are still a ton of delicious options to choose from!
I have celiac disease and have never gotten sick from eating here which means the kitchen must be clean and they must be careful with cross contamination. Love this location.
This is an awesome place to come, relax and have your favorite coffee. I attended a drum circle here and reserved a table to celebrate birthdays with friends. Rebecca baked three amazing cakes; gluten free chocolate, vanilla strawberry and red velvet, all with cream cheese icing. All the staff are friendly and my soy latte was on point. Thanks University Coffee for an wonderful experience.
I've never been to Guacamoles before until a couple of weeks ago. First impression, I didn't feel super comfortable. I think it was because the host placed us at the worst possible table in the building.
The food was great! They didn't have a ton of combos that were gluten-free so I had to do some substitutions. Once I did, it was fine. I asked for gravy on my enchilada, and it came out with queso on top. Another asked for cheese over her rice and didn't get it. So, there were some miscommunications. This review isn't a bad one. The restaurant was clean, and the food was good. I guess it just wasn't what I'm used to.
Example, the chips weren't salty. Which could be a good or bad thing depending on what you like. If you want creamy green sauce like me, this isn't the place. I couldn't handle its spice, but my Husband loved it! The red sauce was great. You really taste the cilantro in it. The queso is white, not yellow.
I reccomend the tostaguac with shredded chicken. It was amazing!
This is one of the spots to go to when visiting Nacogdoches. Was not expecting too much, just a quick breakfast, and we out. I will say the place gets pretty crowded, however, they got us a seat fast and everyone was full of energy, appeared happy, and made sure we were taken care of. The man who seated us was running all over the place, setting up silverware, leasing other employees, and had time to check on is to make sure everything was good. Our server was kind and she has that welcoming personality.
I ordered chicken and a waffle. Now that was some good chicken. The outside was as crispy as I would want, and the inside was VERY tender! Was still hot when it reached me and I enjoyed every bit of it. The waffle, well for the most part, is just a waffle. It was well cooked and there was a bit of extra vanilla flavor which I actually appreciated. What I did have an issue with was the water. It was warm so did not enjoy as much as I would have liked. My girlfriend ordered eggs and she said they were good. She would have liked of there were more gluten free options. Still, overall, I liked the experience, and if I return to Nac, that will be the place to eat at. I recommend y'all try it out.
What a lovely little spot of Nacogdoches! The garden is beautiful, the ambiance is intimate and quiet, and the food delicious! There were some good gluten free options on the menu (including a flourless chocolate cake!) which made this restaurant a fabulous find for a celiac here in Nac! I may have just found my new favorite Friday night spot. ❤️
I have celiacs. I love Dennys. We eat there ALOT. Today, I had the Swiss cheese steak omelette. With the gluten free bread. 😒 I got sick. Please please kitchen staff pay attention. Some of us just cannot manage cross contamination. This was the first time I got sick, we eat there a-lot because there are so many GF choices. I just wanted to remind y’all sometimes it really makes a difference! Take care or take GF off the menu, you could really hurt someone.
