even their waitstaff has a good knowledge of gluten, cross contamination, and what their gluten free options look like (i’m always worried they give me a gluten bun vs gf). they answer all my questions and cook grilled food on tin foil or cleaned part of grill. eaten here about 5 times (burger and fries, once a salad) and haven’t had a reaction yet!
We had the best meal ever! My husband and I shared a meal of Tom Kha soup, house salad with ginger dressing, Nua Nam Tok rolls, drunken noodles, and mango sticky rice for dessert. (Everything was gluten free that we ordered!❤️) Let me say that it was all delicious! Great quality food, wonderful service, and a quaint ambiance were a win win for us! Our server, Mindy, was a delight. All of her suggestions were on point!
Cute restaurant, friendly, nice staff. I always get the lamb gyro and my partner always gets the gluten free pizza! Both are delicious, would absolutely recommend.
We dined at The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm for the first time on a Friday night in December. I am so mad at myself for not coming to this place sooner! The food is absolutely phenomenal, and so is the service. I don’t eat gluten, and had informed the staff of this when making the reservation. No problem — when we were seated, I had my own personalized gluten-free menu. Everything that was served to me was as thoughtfully prepared and incredibly delicious as my husband’s (not gluten-free) meal. He even said he thought my entree (a 48-hour short rib that was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious and perfectly seasoned) was better than his entree. Each course was beautifully presented, and there was even a “theme” tying everything together — fun to notice it in each dish as they came and wow, it’s not easy to pull together a nine-course meal where every dish is on that theme!
We even got a visit from Chef Vincent at the end of the meal, he was very gracious and fun to talk to.
All in all, a perfect dining experience and we can’t wait to go back!
Staff is relaxed and unpretentious but super attentive and kind. Our server was Ty, who did a great job of explaining everything to us, answering questions, making cocktail recommendations, etc.
One of my FAVORITE restaurants. We live in Centerville and drive the hour to Lovettsville to come here for special occasions. They always have excellent options and very attentively accommodate my gluten allergy. They have an ever-changing menu with imaginative, unexpected and always delicious seasonal combinations. I only wish they were open more often!
please don’t eat here with allergens. the waitstaff is over worked and doesn’t have proper info and training due to high turnover. my (non gf) family doesn’t eat here bc of multiple hair incidents and undercooked food, i wouldn’t step food in here.
