The breakfast had so many options, and everything tasted great. I especially liked the lactose-free and gluten-free corner, and the unlimited tea and coffee options were a big plus.
Only gluten-free: bread, biscuits in bags, and fresh savory and sweet products.
Tables for mini-tea rooms. Close to the main road for refueling.
For the tourist lacking food security, two bus lines leave from downtown Tampere and drop off at the entrance to the street. Numerous urban and forest cycle paths to get there too.
A normal burger except for gluten-free: the kitchen is organized to prepare GF burgers and fries apart from standard orders, and the cooks master this aspect.
If burger+fries = menu with fountain drinks (water, Pepsi, Jaffa).
A really rich and tasty lunch salad, which included coffee and also got gluten-free bread. Nice staff and atmosphere. We sell a wide selection of gluten-free products.
As a gluten free milk allergic person, one is used to getting some disappointing flavors in just about every restaurant that’s not exclusively catering for gluten-free vegans. I was extremely surprised to find the ”Tomppa” to be hands down the best pizza I’ve had since my food intolerances kicked in. Heck, it probably beat even the normal pizzas I had the past before the intolerances.
The crust is to die for, and I don’t know how such basic ingredients such as tomatoes, garlic and basil could be so beautifully blended together. As a testament to my awe, we got our first Uuno pizzas via Wolt – and went back to the restaurant for a do-over the next day. 😄
Beautiful cakes. You can find both lactose-free and gluten-free. A versatile selection of salads. Good sized terrace. Coming in, it can sometimes be a bit crowded when the customer automatically takes a little time at the salad counter.
I had the vegetarian pizza, gluten and lactose-free (they added some mozzarella for me since I can’t have tomato sauce). The person who attended us was very kind and attentive. I guess it took a bit longer to serve our meal because of a mistake with my dough, which delayed things a little. However, they made up for it with a complimentary sorbet. We’ll definitely be back!
A very cozy and individual cafe. All savory and sweet foods are gluten-free, and there are plenty of both options available.
We ate laskias buns and chocolate cake and it was delicious. Runeberg tarts were also included.
A generous salad to share as well, the best gluten-free pizza I've eaten, - and a keto version would have been available as well. You can't praise this guy for nothing 😋.
The best gluten free bread I've had. I went in and asked about GF options, and they said that most of the sandwiches can be made up on gluten free bread. Very cute interior too!
Edit: I came back the next day, but earlier, and asked for the same thing. Unfortunately it was on your regular, not that great, gluten free bread. I think they bake the other one fresh, and I was there too early on that day!
I went here for dinner with a friend at the end of May 2024.
I was surprised that I couldn't get the service in Finnish.
It was possible to eat outside. The order had to be placed inside at the counter. There was a wide variety of pizzas. Found for vegans and gluten-free. The drink selection was also reasonable. Alcoholic beverages were found.
We got the order done. We took our drinks and cutlery and went out.
We got the pizzas surprisingly quickly. It was good and filled my stomach.
Price does not correlate with quality. The quality of the gluten-free pasta we ordered was far from the usual pasta that our acquaintance couple was satisfied with. The tomato meatball pasta we ordered for our child was too hot to eat, even though the description of the food said it was only "herbal", the child went home hungry, we did give feedback. We cannot recommend.
The best pizzas in Savonlinna at a very reasonable price. In addition, the gluten-free base is the best that has come across in Finnish pizza shops, not anything frozen. The other food portions are also apparently quite tasty.
The service is really friendly and the interior is full of Rosso nostalgia.
As a non Finisk speaker It was wonderful to be able to order a gluten free, dairy free meal with the touch screen self order system.
It was also great to be able to see the staff take their time to ensure no cross contamination happened with my food.
The restaurant was clean and tidy and the staff were well presented and friendly when I spoke in English to them
A cozy and popular restaurant by the river, you should make a table reservation. The gluten-free pasta portion was delicious and the pasta used for it was of high quality. The lamb salad eaten by a companion was also excellent.
Hands down THE best gluten free pizza I have ever had, and I've eaten pizza in Italy!!! You couldn't even tell it was gf, seriously you have to try this pizzeria, the staff were friendly and very personable, we had just arrived in Helsinki from Australia a few hours prior to looking for dinner and we definitely found the right place, 10 out of 10, we will be back.
Honestly, this place exceeded my expectations, it is a small but cozy place, ideal for those looking for something gluten-free at a reasonable price, I will soon be back hungry and eager to try other flavors, the bathroom is quite clean and hygienic, recommended
An atmospheric dinner place. Maybe a little cramped, but it didn't hurt. The crab cakes were excellent (also available gluten-free), but the beef skewer ordered as a main course left much to be desired. I would have clearly needed more flavor and I think your aioli mayonnaise was not suitable for the dish. The staff was friendly and very professional.
Really friendly service and definitely the best gluten-free burgers I've eaten 👌
The bun is crispy and delicious, completely different from the gluten-free version in general. The steak in the burgers is large, juicy and cooked just right.
The portion is also big enough to make you hungry 😄
