Used to come here often. I am not sure if it has changed hands, but what is on the shelves and in the fridges has certainly changed. I have Coeliac Disease. I must eat gluten free food or 1) I get so sick I have to go to hospital and 2) the damage caused by the gluten to my intestines sets me up for weeks of pain and puts me at much higher risk of bowel cancer. Eating gluten free is not a lifestyle choice. But nearly all the gluten free food is gone. I’m going to have to go somewhere else, along with the other 1 in 70 people in the community who have Coeliac Disease.

This Nurrish Bowl is close to my perfect, healthy, gluten-free lunch. This little shop is full of little healthy nic nacs and coupled with a cosy chic Cafe for Coffee.

Neat and clean. The range of food alternatives for people with ceoliacs disease and other food intolerances and/or allergies was quite good in the pantry staples but quite limited in the fridge/freezer range. I would've preferred to have some more soy yoghurt brands and gluten free meals and things you can chuck in the oven to cook. They did have quite a few lactose free milk, yoghurt, cream and cheese options for those who are only lactose intolerant.

I have shopped at Woolworths for decades and I continue to enjoy the friendly service, great range of products, and lovely wide aisles suitable for gopher and wheelchair access. There is quite a large range of foods suitable for allergies and intolerances. I have recently purchased a banana bread mix that is a Woolworths brand and also gluten-free and dairy-free. Looking forward to cooking it. There is a great range of gluten-free and dairy-free biscuits including scotchfinger, arrowroot, choc- chip and double chocolate. Yum and at a great price. The vegetables are always fresh. There is a large range of meats to choose from and some delicious gluten-free sausages. The store is always very clean and the trolleys are well maintained. The staff at Victor Harbor are always cheerful and happy to assist. I really hope Woolworths continues into the future.

Every time I find allergenic foods here, that I can eat, they discontinue them?! I've spoken with staff several times, but if they not huge seller they won't stock anymore? They've just removed all the back fridges & freezers with Gluten Free & other allergenic foods! Not happy! Hoping it's going to be updated like all the other Foodlands? ... but why do they advertise as "the Mighty South Aussie Store" then go & put American voice-overs at the self-serve checkouts?

Organised a catering box of 7+ pizzas and garlic breads, catering for gluten and gluten free. Staff were fantastically accomodating, transparent, suggestive in best combo's and pickup times. Order was received and devoured by my work team with positive results. Fantastic fresh quality, and highly professional operation. Thank you Mercato! Very well done.
