Wonderful family-run bakery whose products are of top quality, whose team is always friendly, whose additional “small grocery store” selection has saved many a day.
The bakery offers a lot of traditional things (with its own sourdough, Kipf (best!), etc.), but also often tries out new things with local ingredients, whole grain and organic flours or gluten-free: great. The cakes for private celebrations such as B. Weddings are a pleasure in terms of craftsmanship and taste.
There is some vegetarian food in the food sold, including vegan milk if I remember correctly, not the full range, but more helpful than many other shops - everyone else comes to the butcher shop area to get their snack supplies to take away or take home.
As far as I know, a sales van also drives through the surrounding villages: great for anyone who can't make it to the bakery due to time or other reasons.
All of this at very fair prices - thank you for your daily commitment!

Where I'm shopping at the moment. With inflation, I find that it is still the cheapest place of all the stores. There is a very large choice of fruits and vegetables (and they are excellent), as well as drinks and any other section. A large choice in the vegan or gluten-free category for those who need it.
I recommend !

Apparently I'm getting old with the basics and have been a customer for a long time: I particularly appreciated the organic offering (I can do without esoteric Demeter) and the offering from small labels, especially in the specialty area (gluten-free, lactose-free, sugar-free ) and from regional (Bavarian) providers.
But since the takeover of Basic by tegut (or Swiss Migros), things have been going steadily downhill: the offer that used to be the reason to choose the Basic in the first place is gradually disappearing, and a standard selection of a certain dominant brand is spreading. Regional and boutique items disappear, variety decreases, fruit selection now in plastic packaging, butcher counter monotonous, milk from northern Germany (in Bavaria!!), etc. pp.
I understand that tegut wants to standardize the logistics and processes, but I estimate that tegut is only taking part of the strategic position of this branch into account: The competition in the area is high due to alternative, good supermarkets and numerous specialist shops. At the same time, there tends to be a high willingness to pay from selected customers (we are in the center of Munich). Consequently, a position as an everyday supermarket is a wasted opportunity.
By the way, the staff at basic are (still have always been) highly motivated, friendly and have a lot of passion. However, in numerous conversations you can tell that there is great frustration with the "theorists at headquarters" who are ruining what was once a good offer.
In short: I miss the old basic and notice how I shop more and more at alternative places.
