One of my favorite places in Exeter for an evening meal, particularly when you've got folks in from out of town. It's a nice spot right by the river where you can see the sunset and watch the birds. I've been here a few times and they always have a great selection of ales. They have options for gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian and everyone else. There's indoor seating and outdoor seating.

Really cosy but classy restaurant. We sat in the lounge with a log fire. The menu was comprehensive, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. I had an open sandwich which was actually exceptional. Good selection of cakes for dessert.

You know what you're getting with Premier Inn - excellent service (even after a mess up on the booking where the site managed to book me twice after it crashed) and the best fresh cooked breakfast of any hotel chain - lots of gluten free options.

The disabled suite was excellent and the food was amazing--there were combined vegan AND gluten free options...yes, that was plural...there was more than one food option for dinner! The staff were so thoughtful and kind to my Mum, who was unable to walk. Nothing was too much trouble. And everyone looked out for her, from those at the front desk, to those delivering her meals, to the cleaners. I didn't explore beyond her room and the check in desk, but her room and the attitude of everyone I encountered was much higher than a 3-star service. I highly recommend, and we'll be going back just to eat in the restaurant!😘
