Lovely piece of history, architecture is wonderful. Restaurant always has a great menu and very competent staff. Had the porcini mushroom sherry bisque, and loved every spoonful. Menu has gluten-free and vegan items, and was told they can do other items GF if the restaurant is called 24 hours ahead. Well worth the visit!

I had a great solo getaway this past weekend here. I have been once before a few years ago and the whole experience does not disappoint again! The room was lovely (I stayed in #18 this time). Gorgeous bath tub, perfect private accommodation and entrance. The property is beautiful to spend time on. Access to nature and a river. Plenty to do within driving distance. The breakfasts are SO delicious and plenty of gluten free options. The family that owns the place is very kind. Will return!

The food was great, the atmosphere was great, but the service was on point...definitely 5 stars. We had our 14th year anniversary dinner, and our server made it even more special with all her knowledge and recommendations. I'm gluten-free, and she, unlike most servers, was so on top of checking in with the chef to confirm the gluten-free items. It was finally a pleasure to have a server, not make you feel like the restaurant POA for being gluten-free. Thank you for a memorable dinner!

My daughter had the most perfect sweet 16 you could ever ask for. Erin the Catering Sales Manager and the rest of the staff didn't not skip a beat from booking the most beautiful overnight rooms to the most beautiful Catering room for my daughters sweet. It was stress free and the most professional people I have ever met to handle my daughter's sweet 16. I am going to definitely book my younger daughter's sweet in the near future as well as other events in the future. The staff ran everything so smoothly. The food is out of this world delicious. They did an amazing Catering to vegan and gluten free and anyone with allergies. My family and I had the most amazing experience at the Viana. From the bartender, the security guard, front desk, catering and all staff did an amazing job

My family and I go every year. This year was the best! The service was exceptional. Staff was so kind and accommodating. They even set up a special ride for my nephew with autism spectrum disorder. He wouldn't be able to do the full trail ride so they set up a special ride for him! They also had so many gluten free options for us. Love this place!

This was a fabulous restaurant! I went for brunch with friends during the slow season so getting a table was easy. If you are going late spring through early fall make sure you make a reservation. The atmosphere and dining room options are wonderful. It was raining when I went, so we sat inside by the window overlooking the water. Even on a rainy day it was beautiful. On a sunny day it is probably a breathtaking view (will confirm on a return visit)! The menu does have clear markings for gluten-free meals, but the chief can also make adjustments to other menu items by request. There were specials that sounded amazing, but I did go with a regular menu item. Our server was also very helpful with any allergy questions in the food and drink department. The meal was everything I hoped for in terms of presentation and flavor. If you are looking for a lovely place to dine, I would highly recommend giving it a try!

Hands down the best New England Clam Chowder I've ever had! The serf and terf was absolutely amazing as well! Our wait staff was very good. I never had to look for him to get something. He was right ontop of it! Gluten Free was not an issue. We were ensured glove change and proper station cleaning to prevent cross contamination. My wife had zero issues. The pricing was on point for what they have. Not over priced, but not cheap. You're getting excellent food, excellent service at a fair price! That killer combo will have us coming back for more!

Came on the second and third nights from NYC. My husband and I are gluten free and vegan and we were so pleased to have a nice place to eat here in Windham! Drinks were yummy and staff was very nice. We’ll keep coming back for sure. Thanks for accommodating dietary restrictions!

Wonderful experience overall! I enjoyed their wood fired butternut squash pizza and my friends appreciated the gluten free option. Their cocktails were delicious too ! I’ll be back for more of that pizza. Hoping it’s on the menu permanently.

We ate in the bar area, there is a seperate dinner area. Very Adirondack historic. Rooms available. Service was great, Cindy is a gem! All the food was excellent! No fryers, great!!! Several gluten free options. The fish tacos were delicious. The wings were very tasty and cooked/ grilled perfectly! Cozy place, will definitely be back!!

Great service. Exceptional...we had the lovely young man with the great radio voice. Food was good. Although I was still hungry afterwards. :) We had the matcha creme brûlée which was the only gluten free option. We enjoy it, didn’t leave any food uneaten. The mixed greens salad was super basic, only greens a few cherry tomatoes and dressing.

For a girls weekend we stopped here to eat lunch, enjoy the wine and the view. They have a beautiful outdoor sitting area, a delicious menu with gluten free options and, in my opinion, the best Rose in the area.

Delicious, fluffy gluten free buns are available for the sandwiches! The lemon herb stir fry is also gluten free but I only had room for one meal - and it was fantastic! We definitely didn't go away hungry! Our waitress was attentive and friendly, the food was delicious, and the chef cooked all my food separately to make sure there was no chance of cross contamination. We're definitely eating here again next time we're in Cooperstown!

I don't have experience with the motel, but we got takeout on a semi-busy Thursday night and food was ready in about 20-25 minutes, which was exactly what was estimated. I got the broiled haddock, which was very tasty and my wife had the gluten free pizza with tomatoes, onions, and peppers. She enjoyed it. The view of the lake is excellent, so we sat by the car and enjoyed it while waiting. Unfortunately dogs aren't allowed on the patio and dock or we would have dined in. I would recommend the food and would definitely go back.

Totally loved our stay there. The Inn is charming, but it also provides all of the amenities. This is a family run business, and the owners pay great attention to details. It makes a difference. The rooms are all fresh smelling and well decorated. The beds are comfortable. They offer a delicious breakfast with options for all kinds of diets (gluten free, etc.) They ask if you have any dietary restrictions and cater to your needs. The Inn is within walking distance of the main drag and provides on site free parking.

Beautiful location Upstate, and beautiful property. Extremely quiet, and relaxing. I also have to say I was pleasantly surprised they had gluten and dairy free breakfast options. I was fully prepared to eat some bars I brought for myself or go out to eat as it generally is hard to accommodate everyone, but they had a wonderful light breakfast for everyone.

Beautiful. They weren't open for lunch. We had to eat at their sister restaurant and the lunch was good. My wife can't eat gluten and they had gluten free bread for her. Very nice waitress.

My wife and I were looking for a place where we could just disconnect for a while. We just wanted somewhere that we can drive to and just relax. About 2 1/2 away we stumbled on The Eldred Preserve and the Bradstsn Boutique Hotel. We were absolutely blown away with this property. Our cabin was perfect and the staff was amazing. Our breakfasts were made special by Louba who was aware that my wife had a gluten free sensitivity. She went high and above to please her. The Restaurant was beautiful with amazing views of the preserve All I can say is if your looking for a place away from the hustle and bustle this is the place. Look no further. 20 minutes from the historic Woodstock site this is nestled in the middle of a beautifully maintained Preserve. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. We have stayed in some beautiful places. This stacks up with the best of them.

Stayed overnight during our northeast road trip vacation. The lodge was clean and had the "lodge in the mountains" feel that we were hoping for. The little restaurant was perfect and they even went out of their way to accommodate my gluten free needs. The staff were lovely and we had an overall fabulous experience. This is not an expensive resort, it is a mountain lodge and perfect in what it is! We will stay again!

Taking over for Breezy Point is going to be a challenge. You've got big shoes to fill, but I believe you can do it! Might I recommend a slightly experienced staff and healthy eating options (besides those two salads), less fried food on the menu, gluten-free options, vegan-friendly options, vegetarian-friendly options? And dairy allergies, nut allergies considered and clearly noted on the menu. Also, that liquor license is going to come in handy. Best of luck! Looking forward to seeing Tortuga grow!

We just held our company holiday dinner at Byrncliff at the beginning of January and had a wonderful experience. No surprise, this was the fifth time returning to Byrncliff for our annual event. Their event team is excellent, attending to the details of our party efficiently and with professionalism. We had a last-minute dietary concern, which may not seem out of the ordinary, but we were not aware of the allergy until the night before our event. We requested a list of menu items that did not include gluten or nuts at 6pm, and within a short time we had the list. The chef even offered to make a special appetizer for this one guest. They went above and beyond! The ambiance was great, the dining room private with a touch of elegance, round tables, and ivory linens. The food was both plentiful and delicious. We chose buffet style, and our guests were welcome to make a return visit to the buffet table. Our servers were polite, attentive and efficient. We pre-booked next year’s holiday dinner and look forward to another lovely event at Byrncliff.

Attended a bridal shower here and it was a lovely experience. The staff were kind and attentive to those of us with dietary restrictions. I enjoyed a delicious Eggs Benedict with a gluten free English muffin. I would definitely love to visit again.

We had a wonderful four night stay at Troutbeck. The service was responsive and attentive. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast every day in the sun room and Pasta Night was absolutely delicious - true Italian style with more beautiful vegetables and proteins than gluten. The fitness instructors were top notch. We especially enjoyed an evening lounging by a river-side campfire with a bottle of Prosecco and a s'mores kit. It's a beautiful property that prompts you to relax and savor the fine details, such as lit candles and fresh cut flowers, in every room.
