The ice cream here is always super tasty! In addition, they can very well take a gluten-free diet into account here! Gluten-free cones are available and to prevent cross-contamination I was allowed to walk to the back to see which ice cream flavors were still 'unopened' in the freezer, so that there was really a minimal risk of crumbs from other cones. This is a gem of a place. Essentially an ice cream and chocolate shop with tables for coffee outside. The ice cream was fantastic and the sorbet much richer than we get in the UK. There are loads of gluten free and vegan options and all the allergens are labeled. The lady serving was kind and patient. Best of all nine scoops and four coffees were €33.
If you are from UK bring cash because none of our six different cards worked.

The scoops are rinsed extra (apparently sufficient because there were no problems afterwards) and people are aware of the flavors that are not gluten-free. Everything is prepared separately, hands are washed extra, new and clean ice cream scoops are used and the gluten free cone is still wrapped in plastic and handed over to the gluten free customer. Because of my celiac disease it is always exciting to eat something somewhere, but here I did not have to worry at all. Gluten-free cones and I got ice cream from a container that had not been scooped from before. Hands were washed before shoveling, how nice! We were here on holiday for 3.5 weeks and enjoyed a delicious ice cream almost every day. Recommended; Salted Caramel!

Ice cream parlor with things on the side. You can also have lunch or coffee there. We stopped for a cappuccino. However, vegan coffee is not possible. So with a cow's milk allergy your only option is tea. Disappointing. No allergen information about gluten, for example, on the menu, so we didn't add anything just to be on the safe side. Unfortunately, there is no other option in Woudrichem, so do not go to Woudrichem if you have an allergy.
