Delicious ice cream. Coeliac safe! Husband explained he was coeliac. Staff explained that they would wash the scoop and take his ice cream from a new tub of gluten free ice cream to avoid cross-contamination. They had gluten free waffle cones, in a separate plastic bag. Gluten free toppings were mini marshmallows, chocolate buttons, jelly sweets. There were 18 flavours of ice cream that were gluten free.

Cannot fault this place. The choice of ice cream is amazing. I had the caramel and fudge and it was one of the best ice creams I’ve had. The girl who served us was brilliant. Was so helpful when it came to a gluten allergy. Thank you so much.

Gluten free bread and rolls available. Best of all gluten free ice cream and cones also stocked. Ice cream is delicious. Large variety available. The staff are also helpful and cheerful. I highly recommend.

The best bit is the ice cream. Amazing selection of flavours and husband is coeliac and they have a great gluten free selection too. Appreciate they let you test a flavour before making mind up as selection is huge with lots of great options 😊 We have a toddler, the indoor play idea is great. But most of the toys incomplete or broken. Two toy kitchen with missing cupboard doors next to no utensils/toy food. It doesn't keep my wee boy entertained for long! This is easily fixable and at low cost as people always giving away toys/donations. The bouncing pillow outside much better attraction and the park area. Although the park would also benefit from a it of TLC!

I've tried DD's in 3 places now and it's been good every time. The menu changes frequently as does the location though the vibe of the cafe in Marchmont is great for brunch. The fried chicken is nice and crispy and a real treat if avoiding gluten (and also if not!). I highly recommend the Korean waffle if it's available (pictured at the Bellfield gf brewery popup). Very interesting flavours and not something you see everyday even with gluten. They even sometimes have guest pop-ups themselves in Marchmont which is a brilliant idea.
