This place is absolutely amazing!! Our server was Susma and she was so kind and helpful! I have a lot of food allergies (gluten free, dairy free, and more) and had many questions about the menu. Susma was so accommodating to help me find foods for my dietary needs. To top it all off, the food was beyond INCREDIBLE!!! We will definitely be back!!!
Known for massive pizzas and a comforting range of vegetarian and vegan options, this spot is a must-visit for plant-based lovers.

If you're looking for a delicious vegetarian meal, Veggie Flame is the perfect spot. The restaurant offers a wide variety of vegetarian options, as well as vegan and gluten-free dishes. The food is nice, and conforting.
The pizza are huge, so a small one for 1 person is more than enough
Cozy vibes and great service set the stage for a memorable dining experience with delicious dishes and generous portions at this local gem.

After longtime I returned to my old favourite restaurant with my family and was glad I did it. As we entered were greeted by a young lady who seated us in a cozy corner. Soon one pleasant looking young lady brought us menus and water and asked us for drinks. We ordered red wine Shiraz which arrived at proper temperature. Following we ordered tomato soup which was served hot and tasty. For main dish we ordered Malia koftas, paneer, daal and aloo matar ( which was specially prepared for us gluten and lactose free with the help of our efficient server name Ripam.) all dishes were excellent and portions were good. Naans were served hot and soft. Over all we really had excellent evening with delicious food and excellent service by Ripan. I will definitely return to Nirvana again and highly recommended to my friends to try it. Prices are very reasonable considering large portions and the quality of food.
Very first visit to this place . Excellent service, food and ambience. Our server Kenneth was a fine person , well versed with the menu and gave pretty good recommendations based on our spice levels and dietary restrictions(gluten & nut free options ) will definitely visit again .
Enjoy a delightful mix of desi flavors in a cozy atmosphere, perfect for indulging after a long break from your favorites.

Great food and our server Avneet was very sweet and friendly. I am gluten intolerant and it's great to have delicious desi food especially after missing out on dosa for so long. We didn't try the buffet this time but we will be back for it next time :)

Craving authentic flavourful Indian food with a great view? Indian Cuisine by the Lake is the place to be ✨
Located in the heart of Port Credit overlooking the lake, this restaurant serves delicious, mouth watering Indian food. The best part is that they cater to everyone’s needs. Whether you are gluten-free or vegan, they make accommodations to your diet. For example, they use coconut milk instead of cream. They also use tofu instead of paneer. They make everything fresh and customized to your dietary needs. Everything is made at the restaurant and you can see your food being prepared right in front of you with their open kitchen concept!
We tried the following dishes:
Veggie mixed grill
2 Garlic naan
Peshwari naan
Navaratan korma
Special lababdar mushroom and tofu
Chana masala in madras curry sauce
Gulab Jamun
Kulfi
We absolutely recommend trying peshwari naan, special lababdar tofu/mushroom curry and navratan korma. We loved the hospitality by Raj and Danny!
I have the fortune of living just a few blocks away from Bombay Bhel at Hurontario and Eglinton. This is by far the best Indian food I have ever had in my life. It blows the competition away by far. My favourite, their butter chicken is SO good that I order a side of butter chicken sauce to add to the main order. It's like drinking liquid gold. If you're sensitive to spice I recommend the korma. If you love spice I recommend the vindaloo.
Or you can try my favourite, the lamb korma. It's Ontario lamb and just falls apart in your mouth. With a really rich, creamy, nutty flavour. You've never had korma like this. And probably the most balanced curry would be my favourite, the chicken tikki masala. Spice, peppers, chicken, onions, thick, creamy tomato sauce that you'll remember for days after. You'll dream about it. You literally feel guilty eating it too fast. On a side note, the staff is always very friendly and I am always greeted with a warm welcome, for all you nervous ppl looking to try something new.
When I converse with Indians and we get talking about food, I tell them that I have a good spot that I go to. Once they're done snickering at my blatant whiteness, I share the name "Bombay Bhel" and right away they gasp in humility and immediately validate me with something along the lines of "yes, actually Bombay Bhel is very, very good." Thus Bombay Bhel has given me indian street cred. My membership card is in the mail.
My favourite thing to do is have a bunch of friends over for dinner and a movie and call in a pick up order of a ridiculous amount of curries and sauces and their LEGIT freshly made to order naan. (if you don't try their naan, I can't trust you). I think the owner should write a book on their food and call it "i am masala" and I bet it would out sell "i am malala".
Even if you're dining for one, every curry order comes with the option of rice or naan. not like some places which charge you separately for the side. And averages about $13-15. And with very generous portion size. For my Celiac brothers and sisters, the stuff is not labelled GF so it's at your own risk. But I have never gotten sick. However I am not a very sensitive Celiac. But they do claim that there is no wheat thickener used and for how many times I've dined on their food, I believe them.
A good wine to pair with a spicy curry would be something sweet and acidic like a Riesling or Oaky Chardonnay. Or a Gewürztraminer if you'd rather something more fruity and fragrant. Or for a non-alcoholic option I recommend Mango Nectar or they do sell a drink called "Lasi" or something like that. That goes really well with the curries as well. This is definitely one place you need to check off your bucket list, you won't regret it.
A vibrant spot with a great atmosphere, offering unique naan and a diverse menu, plus drinks to complement your meal!

The service was amazing. Harsh made it an exceptional dining experience for us. They are very accommodating with allergies including gluten free (I can’t speak about cross contamination) but they have options. Very kind people.

I was looking for samosas and I randomly just picked to go here and I’m so happy I did! The samosas and spring rolls were so delicious and family approved. They have vegan and gluten free options that I noticed on their website which was nice to see. Very friendly staff. I’ll for sure come back here!
My first time at South N' Spicy. I enjoyed the spicy gluten free dosa (forgot the exact kind but they have may options) and idlis. Hope to visit again.
