I came here with my aunts and mum for dinner and really enjoyed it! my house dal was amazing and the atmosphere was amazing, service was good. we had a first table booking for 3 and i tagged along at the end but they tried to charge me for a naan and starter along with my soup. after explaining im gluten intolerant and that all I ate was the soup finally after getting the manager it was resolved

Amazing food and great range of gluten free curries. Best Saagwala curry i’ve ever had. The chicken was very succulent. Staff were so smiley and friendly and regulary checked up on us. Butter chicken was scrumptious and creamy, cheesy garlic naan wasn’t very cheesy but was still pleasant. Large open space, well decorated. The music was nice but kept changing genres however that is my partner’s and i’s only personal critique.

We had heard about Dosa Kitchen from our friends who came across Dosa Kitchen's Facebook page. Me and my friend being dosa lovers we went to try them the following Saturday morning at the Riverside Market. I got the chicken dosa and my friend got the vegan masala dosa. I simply loved my chicken dosa and thought it was the best chicken dosa in New Zealand, the dosa was hot and crispy. My friend also loved the masala dosa, she told that the masala potatoes had just a touch of turmeric and just melllltttedd in the mouth. All this tasty food was gluten free, couldn't believe it and the masala dosa was vegan and dairy free.

We've eaten here several times and will keep coming back. Most of the dishes here have a freshly ground spice flavour, i.e. they have not been overcooked or lazily cooked. The dishes taste authentic. We always have the Daal Makhani as it's particularly good. Last night we tried the Lamb Ra Ra which was excellent. They cater to Gluten free and also dairy free people here. The interior is not very intimate or romantic, but the food and friendly service make up for this, and they've also made some changes recently, which do help give the place a warmer cosier feel.

Food was nice, however the menu is misleading- none of the chicken options are dairy free due to marinating in yoghurt- despite saying dairy free. Explanation of this was also lacking- the only reason our group came is because the menu said dairy free and gluten free options. Other than that food was nice, mild lamb saagwala was nice could have done with more salt. Coeliac friendly, seemed to have lots of options for gluten free. No cocktails for some reason? Again not explained well. Was in at a quiet time service was standard, other than the menu being wrong was okay.

Unfortunately it wasn’t a great experience, I gifted a friend a high tea experience and from the beginning she said things just didn’t go how they should. Their reservation was never recorded so when they arrived they were told there was no such booking, it took 3 attempts for someone to take their Tea order and the Gluten free food was far less then expected. She said the food she received was very nice so that’s a plus it was more around the whole experience. Thank you

As a coeliac I love this place. Of all the starters and mains only 3 are NOT gluten free. So many restaurants are the opposite. Coeliac aside, the food is delicious. I come to Christchurch infrequently for work but the consistency of the food here is impeccable. And the service is always warm and welcoming. Recommend this place to all. Very reasonably priced as well Eat in or takeaway.....up to you. Either way, enjoy!!!!

Booked a table at late notice. Restaurant is appropriately decorated and has the most amazing chairs! Service was fast and catered to dietary requirements (both gluten and dairy) Would recommend 100%

This is a great restaurant. Friendly staff and tasty food. Portion sizes are good and so are the prices. Allergy friendly - virtually everything is gluten free (except naans of course) and they're able to make most things dairy free, too. I'm a regular here and that won't be changing anytime soon.

Once again fantastic Indian food. Relaxing atmosphere. Great service. I love naan but only the recipie that uses yeast. Their naan is just perfect for me. Gluten is well developed. Also to note hygiene is very good too. Coming again.

Had a nice meal here. My friend is celiac and was able to get a curry that fitted her diet. Very nicely presented and not over priced staff were good as well. Good flavours not fussed on the naan bread.

We've eaten here a few times now and every time the food, the service and the ambience has been excellent. The menu has lots of interesting dishes, not just the usual Indian restaurant favourites and their vegan, vegetarian and gluten/dairy free choices are impressive and delicious! The bread is sublime, try the onion kulcha - you'll be glad you did!

Some of the most boating Indian I’ve ever had. The fish tikka wasn’t. It was just tandoori chicken and the fish amritsari was a fish pakora. Pretty sure the onion barji that the wait staff swore was gluten free isn’t, so pass on these if it counts for you

Amazing food, great takeaway meals. No complain, even tho we have been coming for past 7 years, which was when it first opened. Lots of gluten free, vegan option as well as variety of vegetarian. And must mention the best crispy onion bhagies , I’ve had.
