I am a new lover of Veda! After coming here with a friend over the weekend I decided to return for lunch this week. I was so happy to find out they had specials for restaurant week! The fish pakora was so good I literally wrote home to mom about it! As someone with dietary restrictions finding a place to eat can be hard, but Veda has loads of clearly labeled gluten free options. Their fish is sumptuous and flavorful. I also got the fish moylee and the sauce was so good I could swim in it! I totally enjoyed everything I had. Everything tasted very fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Apart from the food the service was wonderful. My waiter was kind and attentive at every point throughout my meal. It’s great when food tastes good and even better when service stands out. My waiter, Khemraj, was so kind and helpful I will make it a point to stop by again sometime this week when he is working. Do yourself a favor a stop by Veda. Whether you’re by yourself, on a date, or with a friend- you’ll be glad you did!

Ate here with celiac and Manasvi took great care of us!! Ate without any fear of cross contamination or getting sick and the food is fantastic as always! Thank you again to Manasvi for going above and beyond!!!

Lovash is by far the best Indian food in Philadelphia. We order take away 3 or 4 times a week from work, the food is always fresh and the taste is homemade. We especially love the Veg Biryani, Saag, Rogan Josh, and aloo tiki chole. They have great vegan and gluten free options for many dishes and tasty Lassi! Thanks Mohan!

My new Favorite go to spot for delicious Indian Food, including a fabulous buffet available at lunch and dinner. The buffet is absolutely perfect with gluten free and vegan options also, and all items are marked as such. Cold salad bar with fresh fruit and desserts and even hot chai tea.. The buffet is a great way to try different Indian dishes if you have never had it, or love it and want a bit of everything.. Their full menu is also always available. Their drink prices are Awesome with 3.00 wines,shots and beers & 2.00 Yuengling bottles. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly with exceptional customer service. Same amazing service Everytime-- days, nights, weekends. Great for fun with friends, meeting someone for a business lunch or just to chat, and even makes an impressive date night on a budget. Their huge vegetarian samosas are amazing and all the buffet food is spiced just right for anyone to try. If you have missed this University City gem please give it a try...You'll definitely go back for more... Also very clean establishment with beautiful clean bathrooms.

I go here fairly often for the lunch buffet. A buffet is never going to be quite the quality of a single prepared meal, but it's a good price and generally a decent variety, well labeled for food allergies which is a particular benefit to me (as I have celiac).

My favorite Indian food in the city! Vegan (specify no dairy) and gluten free friendly too. Delivery always comes hot, the employees are always nice when we pick up. Obsessed with their channa masala and every other dish I’ve ordered has been amazing (anything eggplant is god tier food- order it!). Incredible flavor. I eat Indian food all over the city (I hate reviews that claim something is great but you don’t know if the reviewer has much to compare it to- I do) so it’s not just that they’re in the neighborhood, they’re the best!

WE LOVED IT HERE!! The service was great, food was delicious, it was prompt, and they were great about making sure there was no gluten or dairy in my food because I have intolerances. Will 100% be my go-to for Indian food in the area and honestly a top five favorite on Main Street. Would absolutely recommend!
