My first visit to Zizzi Newcastle. Lovely food from a varied menu including Gluten Free options. Disappointing that although we were warmly greeted with menus of entering the restaurant we had to find our own table. Secondly, it would have been nice to have been asked if we enjoyed our meal at some stage during our visit. Clearly a need for more customer training in hospitality.

Went for tea after receiving a £15 birthday gift card from the restaurant group. Was a lovely evening, gluten free pizza and fries. Chocolate brownie with ice cream for dessert. Very nice.

Service and quality of the food was excellent, however the increase in price since my last visit was a shock. Other restaurants on Dean Street and Grey Street charge around £12 for pizzas, Prima is now £18... and £5 extra for gluten free option is disappointing. I'll be looking at alternative restaurants next time.

Amazing Italian food, and wide range of varieties available. They also cater for vegetarian and gluten free dietary restrictions. I personally enjoy their thin crust pizza.

Loved it. The restaurant us in quite an amazing space. No idea what the building used to be, but was and indeed still is very impressive. I'll be investigating the history of the building in due course. The staff were great. Friendly, attentive but not overly so. The food was delicious. The ability to choose between 3 types of pasta (4 if you include gluten free) was refreshing. The option of spaghetti only with certain dishes puts me off choosing them ordinarily. So Pasta Roma with penne it was. 2 pasta dishes, 250ml wine, 2 pints of Peroni, 1 cappuccino, 2 desserts a touch under £65.

Went into the pizza express in Eldon Square Shopping centre in Newcastle and what an incredible experience! Me and my colleague got a big take away order and Neil and Grace were friendly, welcoming, polite, professional and genuinely the nicest people I have met! I am gluten free and my colleague other allergies. They were really accommodating and explained fully what we could order! Thank you Neil and Grace

GLUTEN FREE REVIEW! Had a lovely gluten free Sunday lunch today. When we rang for the order, we were told I could be catered for with the exception of roasties and Yorkshire puds....that was fine. However, they called us back a few minutes later to say they would make separate gluten free roasties for me! This may seem like a small deal, but when you require gluten free (not a choice) it's hard to find places to eat, so the fact they did this went a long way for me! Thank you La Famiglia 😊

Had a very nice group meal. My pasta was gluten free and very tasty. Staff are very nice and the prices are average but can be improved by having a set menu. It's not noisy and the food comes quickly.
