We were super excited to eat here however it was not worth the money we spent.
The artichoke dip should’ve been super flavorful, but it was mildly bland, but at least the bread was good. They do not carry a gluten-free dip for the artichoke dip.
I ordered the pesto pasta, and it was not quite cooked enough. The other person I was dining with ordered the steak risotto, medium rare. However, the first time they brought it out, the steak was medium well. They brought her dish back to the kitchen and almost 25 minutes later she still did not have food. The manager gave a bunch of excuses when they brought out the dish again with the steak cooked at medium well again. She claimed that the kitchen does not have a hot pan and they have to wait to heat a pan. Mind you this restaurant was completely full and it was the middle of dinner, but the kitchen does not have a hot pan. We had been sitting at the restaurant for 75 minutes at this point and they had not been able to eat their dinner so they just had it returned because the risotto looked like slop and the steak was overcooked. We had tickets to something that evening and did not have another hour to sit there and hope they might bring out an acceptable option.
At this point, I was done eating what I was gonna eat of my meal and requested a box. . The manager did remove the cost of the risotto steak meal, but acted like it was a complete inconvenience to have dealt with us. The other person walked out not being able to eat dinner, and there was no apology made for that. We spent $70+ and they never even got food.
The manager did NOT make this right and said that if we have issue with it, we can call back later and we can discuss it with her. This is the least acceptable way to have dealt with this.
I would not send a single person here to eat ever. It might have a cool view, but so do other places in Duluth.
A super accommodating spot with attentive staff, offering a welcoming vibe and great service for all occasions.

we love this location. We come up here every year on our way home from international falls Minnesota with the whole family. It’s always great. This year was different because my dad was diagnosed with celiac last October. Everyone was so understanding and extremely helpful. My dad even got his own menu. The manager even came out to speak to him! Super friendly, outgoing, and helpful. This doesn’t usually happen, (where the service industry actually understands his food allergy.) he was ecstatic and very much enjoyed his food!! We had two servers. I assume one was training. Both did amazing. Checking on us very frequently and giving great service!! Bar was also awesome along with hosts. One of the best olive gardens! Very clean location. 10/10
Nice place, decent service. Food was greatly lacking. They say their burgers are medium....but they were very well done. Dry to eat... edges were actually crunchy. I got the Garlic Mushroom Swiss burger on a gluten free bun. Side salad. Salad was okay. Burger didn't taste like there was garlic, and in general, was not tasty at all. Very messy too. The gluten free bun was cut so there was a lot of bread on top and hardly any bread underneath. Had their router which was meh .. got iced tea sheet that. We were right by the bar and it got really loud for a while. Gluten free is not marked on menu. But it does say they have gluten free buns for 2.00 more. They also have gluten free pizza crust. Probably won't go back though, did was kiind of disappointing.

We had no idea that Duluth had a high end quality Italian restaurant after years of coming up for the weekend.
Not only was the service quick and professional, but the food was outstanding.
Clean ingredients with strong distinct flavors. Additionally solid gluten free options!
Great atmosphere. Think old school quality Italian vs chinsey greasy family Italian.
Had two different gluten free pizza crusts to choose from: cauliflower and regular gluten free crust. I had cauliflower thought it was very good. Nice friendly service and a good atmosphere.
