Food was good. Nothing fancy but well done.
But the service. Firstly we ordered a gluten free pizza (+$7) but was bought a regular crust. Very dangerous. And not a hint of apology but instead "I didn't take your order".
The entire crew seemed to be very self- untitled
I don’t think it’s fair that you guys charge an extra $4 for gluten free pasta and then give me a smaller portion size than the regular noodles. This happens every single time I’ve eaten at grassa. It’s a bummer because I love your flavors but $20 for a kids size is diabolical work in this economy. I don’t mind paying more for gf but I at least deserve a reasonable/full portion for that extra $4
The place stands out for its accommodating service and delicious offerings, making it a recommended spot for a fun dining experience.

Great food and even better service! The garlic knots are so good! My daughter cannot have gluten and they went above and beyond to make sure her Caesar salad was good free as well. Would definitely recommend.
Charming spot with a cozy vibe, wooden decor, and plants, perfect for a delightful dining experience that's sure to impress.

First time for us in Portland and our waiter Austen was super kind and had some good food recommendations. It was the perfect choice for us. The pizza and the pasta (gluten-free) were homemade and absolutely awesome! Absolutely worth a visit!
A cozy and private spot perfect for small events, with great service and a flexible menu that leaves guests impressed.

Although the food was delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere was nice for a date night, my celiac partner was contaminated with gluten. She had the GF Kale Salad and the GF Mushroom Risotto, I had the special that day, she did not have any of my dish. When informing the waiter they seemed confident and well informed about gluten. Later that evening at a comedy show, my partner experienced an allergic reaction (they had nothing to eat or drink at the show except water) and will now be ill for the next several weeks. We live 2 blocks from this restaurant and have been in Portland the last 2 years. This has only happened at one other place since moving here from the east coast. I cannot recommend this establishment for celiacs and will not be visiting it again.
Authentic Italian vibe with a cozy, dim atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for a romantic night out.

Must go to for authentic Italian. Fresh burrata with mortadella slices for appetizer, and Gluten free GF mixed seafood spaghetti for the wife and a sage buttered pear ravioli with a side of polenta for this guy! Excellent service. Dim and quiet atmosphere perfect for a romantic evening out. Must see!
Oh my lanta. This place is delicious. I am gluten free by choice and you can have all sorts of items. They don’t have gluten free pasta. But they offer soups the wild mushroom was heaven, and salads and you can get your sauce and meat choice over veggies or sautéed spinach or kale. I read the menu wrong and I thought I was getting butternut squash, but it was butternut squash ravioli, I told the waitress that I was gluten free and she said no problem and had veggies made for me. It was so good. I had the Alfredo with chicken over broccoli cauliflower zucchini and butternut squash. Loved it!! Can’t wait to go back. Definitely a hidden gem 😍
